Y/N's POV
it had been two days since the yule ball announcement and everywhere i went i could hear all the drama revolving around it. i was excited, definately, but i didn't want the few hours of dancing (and drinking) to take over my life.

unfortunately blaise, draco and i had to part ways for first lesson. it was very annoying, but at least i would be able to catch up with hermione, ron and harry without rushing it because draco and them had issues with each other.

i sat down at my seat - herbology. a nice calm lesson. i was sat down next to a nice boy called neville. he was a gryffindor, had black hair and was very passionate about plants. we were also sat next to ron, harry and hermione. i still had no wand because those motherfuckers stole it but i managed.

i gave a nice smile followed with a casual "hi!". harry was a bit nervous, i'd assume it was because in a couple days the first task of the triwizard tournament was coming up.
"i'm sure you'll be fine, harry," i assured him. "we'll be there to do anything if needs be."

hermione and i planned to go shopping down to hogsmeade on the weekend for our yule ball dresses - it was in a couple weeks, afterall, and we wanted to look our best.

neville and i discussed the plants we were learning about. he was so passionate about them, it was actually kind of adorable. he spoke about them like he hadn't spoken to anyone in years.

when our class finished we had our break time. i met up with blaise in the corridor, him telling me that draco had to help professor snape with something.

Blaise's POV
i figured i'd ask her to come to the astronomy tower with me at some point within the week.

i wanted to ask her then, ask her to come to the yule ball with me. it would be the perfect chance; underneath the stars, a good view of the moon, a peaceful place all to ourselves. it's be perfect.
