Chapter 6 - Solo Mission Part 1

Your POV:
I wheeled out of Kenma's office and left them both. Kuroo just standing there and Kenma sat at his desk. I went to my room and struggled to get into bed. I eventually figured it out and got into the bed. Resting before my week-long mission that I had planned.

I was genuinely shocked that Kenma let me go on this mission. Like genuinely. I was expecting him to deny my request or at least, send someone with me.

Time Skip:
It was now the morning. I got dressed with great difficulty and climbed into the wheelchair. I found my phone in the mess on my bedside table and unlocked it, heading straight to my contacts. I searched for the desired contact and called them.

Kageyama, Tobio
Calling.
Hello?
Tobio? It's me.
Y/N? Hey. What's up? You rarely call me.
I wanted to ask a favour. Can we meet up?
Sure. When?
Anytime today.
Soon then? Meet you at the park?
Sure.
Ok. See ya soon then.
See ya.
Call ended.

I placed my phone into my pocket and left the headquarters, heading towards the abandoned park. After a while. And I mean a while. I eventually made it to the abandoned park and saw Tobio waiting. Leaning against the fence.

"Y/N? You look like shit. What happened?" He asked me.

"I err got kidnapped by Johzenji." I say, looking away.

"Maji?" He says.

"Maji." I reply.

"So what did you want to meet for?" He asks me.

"I wanted to know if you had anything on the other gangs. I'm doing some research and I'm curious." I say.

He glares at me to see if I'm lying but soon notices that I'm not.

"Well. Johzenji's and Aoba Johsai's captains are a bit. A bit excessive. They like their women. Date Tech is very neutral. They don't side with anyone. Then there's Shiratorizawa. They're quite the scary ones. They tend to engage in fights. Act as if they run the whole gang game." He explains.

"That makes sense. What about Karasuno? Do they side with anyone? Inarazaki either?" I ask.

"Hmm. We don't side with anyone but I don't know about Inarazaki. They're very secretive. I wouldn't know anything. Don't know anyone that would." He says.

"Huh. Ever thought about teaming up with Nekoma?" I ask.

"No. We haven't. I can always mention it to my captain." He says.

Then his phone rings.

"Hello. Oh. Captain. I'm meeting my friend. I had a question. Have you ever thought about siding with Nekoma? You haven't. Arrange a meeting? Ok. I can try. I'll be back soon." Tobio says. I can hear half the conversation.

"So?" I ask.

"He said he'd like a meeting with Nekoma's captain." He says.

"Ok. One sec." I say, pulling out my phone.

I called Kenma and waited for him to pick up.

"Kenma? It's me. I'm on my mission. Yes. I know. I'm safe. I had a question. Have you ever thought about siding with Karasuno? Yea my friend is from Karasuno. His captain is willing for a meeting. You will? Ok. I'll tell him now. Two days from now at midday? Alright. Got it." I say. Tobio only hearing half my conversation.

"Well?" Tobio asked me.

"He said he'll meet with Karasuno's captain two days from now at midday." I explain.

"Ok. I'll let my captain know later. So where are you headed next?" He asks me.

"Probably Date Tech. You?" I ask.

"Then I'll accompany you." He says.

"You know you don't have to." I say, waving my arms in front of my face.

"Did you two say you were headed to Date Tech?" A voice rings out.

"And what's it to you?" I say, venom lacing my voice.

"Woah! Calm down. I'm from Date Tech. Koganegawa. I'm a member of the Date Tech Mafia." He explains.

"Oh. Well in that case. Call your boss. I wanna talk to him." I say.

"Yes ma'am." He says.

He pulls out his phone and hands it to me.

Calling Boss
Koganegawa? You never call.
Hey.
Who's this? What did you to do Koganegawa?!
Nothing. He's right here.

So what's going on?
Just wanted to know if you wanted to side with Nekoma and Karasuno.
Depends. What's in it for me?
We take down the big boss and put Johzenji in check.

I'll think about it. Take my number and pass it to your boss. But know one thing, what you're planning is fucking risky. Never in a million years should this fucking stunt be pulled. So why now?
Because. I'm fed up of following orders from two fucking people. One leader for each faction is enough. Don't see why we need a leader over everyone. It's bullshit if you ask me.

"Well he's quite the character!" I say.

"Indeed. That's why he's my boss!" Koganegawa declares.

"Well anyway, see ya Koganegawa. I'm onto the next group." I say.

"Ok. Good luck!" He shouts as me and Tobio leave.

"Wait! My boss' number!" He says, pulling out a slip of paper.

He writes the number down and then hands it to me.

"Good luck!" He says before leaving.

"Come on Tobio. We have business to deal with!" You say.
