Kuroo's POV:
It was a couple hours after I had left Y/N in the care of Yaku. He still hadn't come out of the room. Not even five minutes later, he opens the door and comes out. Standing straight in front of me. I must've fallen asleep standing up.

(A/N: I've actually done that once. God it's so awkward too. And the length of time that Kuroo has done it, gee he must be sore)

"Yaku? Well?" I say, staring down at him.

"She'll be fine. Just needs to rest. I'm gonna go tell the boss. You watch over her. And make sure she doesn't try and get up. Like you tried to all that time ago." Yaku says.

"Yes sir!" I say, stuttering slightly.

"Hey." She says as I walk in.

She tried to sit up but I immediately stopped her.

"Nope. You are lying down. You're not going anywhere." I say to her.

"Jeez Tetsurou. I mean Kuroo. I just wanted to grab the glass. My mouth is so fucking dry." She says, pouting.

"Ok." I say, raising my hands as if to say I surrender.

"Here." I say, passing the glass to her.

She took the glass with her left hand and I could see she was struggling slightly.

"Why not hold it with the other hand?" I mutter.

"Oh yeah." She says.

I sit down on the chair near her bed and just watch her. Feeling so fucking bad for her. She didn't need this for a first day on the damn job. This is why I fucking hate gang wars.

"Hey Kuroo? Why did you save me? You should've left me behind." She sighs.

"What are you saying? There's every reason to save you. You're a special case, Y/N. I didn't want to watch you die. We all care for you. You may have only been here like a day, but we all care for you like a younger sister." I reply.

"Yeah. I guess you're right. I'm gonna be so stiff after this. I'm gonna need to train again." She sighs.

"You're already thinking of coming back when you haven't even fully recovered yet?" I laugh.

"Yeah. That a problem? I don't like sitting still. That much should be clear." She says, rather seriously.

"Ok. Ok. I'll ask Yaku how long until you can leave." I say.

"Ok." She replies.

"Get some rest, okay? You've had a long day." I say.

"Yeah. You have a good point." She replied.

I left her to rest and headed to Kenma. I know I told her I'd speak to Yaku, but I have something important to ask him. I walked up to his office and knocked on the heavy door. I heard a shy come in and then entered.

"Kuroo? What's up?" Kenma said.

"I wanted to ask you something. Why did you really recruit Y/N to join us? We have a medic. And you have me." I say.

"Because. It wasn't just her skill. I thought it would be nice to have someone of the opposite gender here. As well as that, she's a kindled spirit. A kind caring soul that is perfect for us. It keeps us in touch with reality." He replies.

I mean, he has a point. All we've faced is destruction and gang wars. Nothing more. It gives us a more natural side I guess. Though we may have dragged her down with us. It definitely feels that way.

I then left Kenma's office and went to go and find Yaku. I last minute remembered Y/N wanted me to ask him something.

"Hey Yaku?" I ask, knocking on his office door.

"Yeah? What's up?" He says, turning to face me.

"Y/N wanted to know how long she'd be in the bed for." I say.

"Hmm. With her injuries, at least a week." He replies.

"She's not gonna sit still that long." I say.

"Well you're gonna have to think of something then. I'm busy." Yaku says, turning back to his paperwork.

I went to the supplies cupboard and found a wheelchair that I could use. I pulled it out and brought it to Y/N's room. I knocked on the door and she turned to face me. I entered and brought the wheelchair close to her bed.

"If you can't get out of bed. Then I guess a wheelchair will have to do." I say, helping her out of the bed carefully.

I wheeled the wheelchair to Kenma's office and knocked on the door. I heard him say come in and I entered. With Y/N.

"Y/N? What are you doing here?" Kenma asks.

"I brought her. Thought she could be included in the meeting." I reply.

"Ok." Kenma says.

"Erm. About Johzenji? They had a fence at the front that seems to only open to certain people. It seems tripping the system only sets the alarm off. He seems to be plotting something. I just don't know what. But I have a plan. You'll just have to trust me." She say.

"Ok. What's your plan?" Kenma asks.

"It's rather I didn't tell you. I'll just tell you what I find out. Give me a week. That's all I need." She says.

"Ok. But you call Kuroo if something goes wrong." Kenma says.

"Are you insane?! She's still injured." I say, rather loudly.

"I'll be fine Kuroo. Trust me!" She says, giving me a closed eye smile.
