Where's Daddy? // Luke Hemmings

CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

Luke’s POV

Well, today was an eventful day.

I went and stopped a wedding, I confessed my love to Kiara and I took Kiara on a date.

The date was so much fun. I took Kiara to a cove at Bondi that Calum and I found a couple weeks ago and we had a moonlight picnic. We went for a swim and I serenaded her too. The night ended with Kiara and I driving to Cold Rock and just catching up over ice-cream. I thought that it wouldn’t be that romantic but considering we bought our ice-creams and then ate them on the sand in each other’s arms just made the night ten times better. The best thing was that Kiara enjoyed herself.

Kiara and Charlotte were staying at my place for the next few nights so that Michael could move out of the house without the girls being in the way.

“Kiara, baby, are you tired” I asked her when I notice her yawn.

She simply nodded her head and laid her head on my chest, closing her eyes in the process. I planted a gentle kiss on her forehead and closed my eyes as well.

I was woken by a loud scream and a bang. I sat up and noticed that Kiara wasn’t next to me anymore.

I got out of bed and ran downstairs, carrying my baseball bat with me.

I raced into the kitchen and saw Kiara on the floor holding onto her stomach, laughing like a maniac. I swear I even saw a tear slip from her eyes because of how hard she was crying. I dropped the bat and caught my breath.

“What the hell just happened” I asked after my breathing was back to normal.

“I came down here because I was hungry and I found Ben butt naked digging through the pantry” she laughed.

I laughed along with her.

“Did you see anything?” I questioned.

“Thank God I didn’t. I would be scarred for life if I had” she chuckled and I laughed with her.

“Let’s go back to bed” I said and she nodded. We headed back up to bed and we cuddled together.

That’s how we fell asleep.

Kiara’s POV

I carefully got out of bed without waking Luke and tip-toed downstairs.

I made it into the kitchen and turned the light on. That was a bad idea because I was then face-to-face with a naked Ben.

I screamed at the shock and then fell on the floor and started laughing my ass off.

Suddenly Luke came running down the stairs holding a baseball bat.

“What the hell just happened?” Luke asked once he had gotten his breathing back to s steady pace.

“I came down here because I was hungry and I found Ben butt naked digging through the pantry” I laughed, causing Luke to laugh with me.

 “Did you see anything?” he asked.

“Thank God I didn’t. I would be scarred for life if I had” I chuckled and he laughed with me.

“Let’s go back to bed” Luke said and I nodded. We headed back up to bed and we cuddled together.

That’s how we fell asleep.
