It was a peaceful morning in McDuck manor. Scrooge sat up in his bed and stretched checking the clock. He yawned and climbed out of bed. He tied his robe, and opened his curtains, it was a beautiful day outside.

"Morning, Scroogie~" He knew that voice. GOLDIE O'GILT

"GOLDIE?!" Scrooge said shooting around to face the golden-haired duck.

"WHAT'RE YOU DOING HERE YOU THEIF?! HERE TO TAKE A PART OF ME FORTUNE?!" Scrooge yelled stomping over to her. She said there as a grin spread across her face.

"Can't I just pay you a visit every now and then?" She said resting her cheek on her hand.

"It's never just a visit with ye'." Scrooge hissed skeptically.

"I suppose it's usually not." Goldie said standing up and facing Scrooge.

"But this time, it is." Goldie said running a finger along the bottom of Scrooge's bill. Scrooge yanked his head back and watched as she walked by. She was looking around and noticed a lock of golden hair. She walked over and picked it up.

"Is this- Is this mine?" Goldie said looking at Scrooge

"Hm?" Scrooge said looking over but quickly realizing what she was holding.

"WHAT, PSSSHHH NO! OF COURSE ITS NOT HAHA WHAT DO YOU THINK I AM??! A STALKER OR SOMETHING?" Scrooge yelled clearly lying as sweat dripped down his face. Goldie set down the lock of hair, she knew it was hers but she decided not to pry to much for her own sake. She ran past Scrooge and plopped onto his bed.

"How long have ye' been here." Scrooge said shoving the lock of hair into a door.

"Since last night." Goldie said rolling around in his blankets. Scrooge was surprised but decided not to scream again considering it would hurt his throat. He was about to remark whenever Beakley walked in with his morning tea.

"Why is she here?!" Beakley hissed venom filled setting down his tray.

"I don't know, she said for a visit." Scrooge said walking over to Beakley, and picking up his tea. He took a sip and waved Beakley out.

"I needa change." Scrooge said looking over to Goldie looking at her, she was still just laying in his bed.

"Ahem...?" Scrooge cleared his throat. Was she asleep? He crept over to her and peaked at her. She was indeed asleep. She looked so peaceful laying there sleeping, as if she was dead. He walked back over and grabbed his normal attire and went to change in his bathroom instead so she could rest. Scrooge grumbled as he walked out of his bathroom adjusting his tophat he wasn't sure if she was lying or if she genuienly wanted to visit him. Either way she was peacefully sleeping and he didn't want to bother her. He smiled at her and he closed the curtains so she could sleep.

"Morning Uncle Scrooge!" The boys, Webby, and Della all said at the exact same time.

"Mornin' kids." Scrooge said as he walked over to them.

"Did y'all know Goldie was here." Scrooge said angrily. The all smiled awkwardly and that's when he knew they all did know. He grumbled and walked into the kitchen for a quick cup of coffee, once he made his coffee he sat down at the dining room table and read the newspaper.

"The great Scrooge McDuck drinks coffee?" Goldie said picking up his mug of coffee and sipping out of it.

"Well I suppose he normally does, but not today?" He said raising an eyebrow at her as she drank his coffee.

"Your seriously pulling that card? After all we've been through your not gonna drink after me?" Goldie said giggling and setting down his mug.

"After everything we've been through? Do you mean you backstabbing me every single time I see you?" Scrooge said closing his newspaper.

"Can't we just co-exist for once Scroogie?!" Goldie asked clearly getting angry. Scrooge sighed and sat up.

"I suppose.. If you backstab me-" He was cut off by Goldie shushing him and walking off. That woman was really something, something that made him so angry he just wanted to break a table! But something that he also loved dearly.

They spent the entire day together along with Scrooge's family. It turned out she really did just want to visit him! It was the end of the day now though and Goldie was collecting her items so she could leave.

"Wait Goldie.." Scrooge said placing his hand on her shoulder.

"Yes money bags?" Goldie said turning around.

"Do ye'... Do ye' have ta leave..?" Scrooge said looking at the ground. He was clearly embaressed by asking her this.

"I don't HAVE to. Do you want me to stay?~" She said like a cunning fox. Scrooge just huffed and mumbled something under his breath.

"I didn't catch that." Goldie said. He mumbled again just louder.

"Stop acting like a child." Goldie said crossing her arms.

"I want ye' ta stay!" Scrooge said looking her directly in the eyes. There was a moment of silence as they shared gazes.

"Then I'll stay." She said taking the bag off and setting it down on a chair in his room. Goldie climbed into Scrooge's bed and patted the side next to her inviting him to lay down in his OWN bed. He took off his spats and tophat and walked over.

"Don't you have a nightgown?" Goldie said looking him up and down.

"I have a nightshirt." Scrooge said walking over to his closet. He took off his coat and slid that on instead.

"There we go, isn't that comfier?" Goldie said patting the bed next to her once again. Scrooge climbed into bed and turned off the lamp.
