The love life of Scroldie

Time to head off!

It time to head out for the cruise. Scrooge still wished Louie hadn't spent the money on this but it was too late now.

"Everybody all packed?" Donald looked around making sure everybody had everything.

"Wait we're supposed to be packing?!" Dewey yelled as he shot up. Donald sighed and looked at Scrooge.

"Uncle Scrooge would you help Dewey pack so I can start getting everybody on the plane?" He asked. Scrooge nodded and walked over to Dewey.

"C'mon then Lad." Scrooge said walking with Dewey. Dewey grabbed a backpack and walked over to his wardrobe, he grabbed a few spare shirts, his swimming trunks, and goggles.

"Done!" Dewey said as he put his backpack around his back. They walked back out but the house was empty.

"I bet they're all in the plane." Dewey said running out the door. He hopped on the plane and dropped his backpack.

"Let's GoOoO" Dewey yelled running in circles.

"Then sit down!" Webby said grabbing Dewey's arm and putting him in a chair.

"Everybody ready?" Donald said looking over the rails of the plane. All the kids nodded.

"Let's go." Donald said walking over to Della who was flying the plane.

"How far is the Cruise?" Scrooge asked.

"It's not too far." Della said

"Why're we taking the plane then?"

"Because there's the ocean in between. It's in Hawaii." Scrooge and Donald both shot their heads towards Della

"WERE IN CALIFORNIA!" They both yelled. (Duckburg is in Calisota which is part of California)

"Chill, I'll have us there asap!" Della said leaning back in her chair.

"I hate planes." Goldie remarked leaning on the wall.

"Ya didn't have ta come then." Scrooge said rolling his eyes.

"And make you beg me to stay again?"

"I DIDN'T BEG!" Scrooge said pointing his cane at her. She just chuckled and looked down at the kids. 

"Sooo what're we gonna do for fun on the way?" Dewey said looking between his brothers and Webby.

"We could watch a movie." Huey said grabbing his laptop out of his backpack.

"Do we have wifi?" Webby asked climbing over to Huey.

"Scrooge set up a wifi thingy for the plane." Louie said hanging upside down from his chair on his phone.

"What movie then?" Dewey said scooting over to them.

"We could watch a scary movie?" Louie said sitting down next to them.

They ended up watching the conjuring. All the adults just kept hearing the kids whimper, giggle, gasp, and scream.

"What're they doing down there?" Della asked smiling.

"Watching a scary movie." Goldie said walking over to Della. During the long plane ride, eventually everybody except Della had fallen asleep. It was getting hard for Della to stay awake but they were so close to their destination so she toughed it out. She landed in a clear patch of land closest to the city.

"WAKE UP SLEEPY HEADS!" Della yelled throwing her hands into the air. Everybody started waking up. Scrooge checked his watch. 11 PM

"It's late, we should get a hotel room and board the ship tomorrow." Donald said climbing down to get the kids. He woke them up and closed the laptop.

They walked into a fancy hotel and looked around. There were 2 beds, and 2 pull out couches.

"What if we pushed the couches together and made a fort!" Webby said looking at Huey Dewey and Louie.

"Yeah!" Dewey said running over and helping Webby push the couches together.

"I'll grab the spare sheets out of the closet!" Huey said running over to the closet. Della and Donald plopped onto a bed at the same time.

"I'm exhausted." Della yawned.

"Even though I slept, I could always go for a nap." Donald said looking at Della. 

"A nap?" Della said looking at the clock and giggling.

"You know what I mean." Donald said rolling his eyes.

"Wake up or we're gonna miss the ship." Scrooge said poking Donald with his cane. Donald sat up yawning and from his moving the bed, Della woke up too. Goldie got up with Scrooge, but they both got up first.

Donald sat up and fumbled out of bed. 

"What time is it?" 

"1:00 PM." Scrooge said smiling evily.

"WHAT?!" Donald screamed as he jumped up.

"Its actually 9:00 AM Donald." Della said looking at the clock then ruffling her hair. Scrooge chuckled.

"Evil old bird." Donald said walking over to the kids and waking them up.

"What're we gonna do for breakfast?" Donald asked helping Louie out of his bed, Louie never got up easily but he always came around.

"The cafe closes at 11, if we wanna grab food there then lets go!" Della said hopping out of bed and stretching. Everybody was up now, Huey was brushing his teeth, Dewey and Webby were watching TV and Louie was checking his social medias. They all went to the cafe and ordered.

"We better get going if were actually getting on that cruise." Goldie said pushing Scrooge's tophat down onto his face. Everybody got up and Scrooge checked out of the hotel.

"Okay the cruise is leaving the dock in about 20 minutes. From here how long would it take to walk?" Della said looking at a paper then her watch.

"Like 15 minutes." Donald said doing the math in his head.

"Lets get going then!" Della said running.

"YEAHHHH" Dewey yelled chasing after his mom on this nice sunny day. After about 10 minutes of walking.

"Ughhh my knees are killing me!" Goldie groaned leaning on Scrooge.

"What do ye want me ta do 'bout it?" Scrooge said looking at her.

"Carry me that's what, gonna smart mouth me so much." Goldie said practically jumping into Scrooge's arms. Like 30 seconds later Webby realized Scrooge wasn't walking next to her anymore so she turned around he was fighting with Goldie, but she jumped into his arms and he huffed then carried on walking catching up with the rest of us.

"What's going on there?" Louie said pointing at them and waving his finger in a circle.

"Her knees hurt." Scrooge said angrily as she played with his fluffy cheeks.

"You're fluffy." Goldie said petting his fluff. She buried her face into Scrooge as he carried her, she was enjoying this very much and so was Scrooge.
