After the cruise- because I want the wedding to happen. ;w;
"Phew home at last!" Della said dropping her bags onto the floor and jumping onto the couch.
"Welcome back." Beakley greeted them vacuuming the floors.
"When's the wedding?!" Dewey said circling Goldie and Scrooge excitedly
"We haven't done any plannin' yet lad." Scrooge said walking past Dewey.
"Wedding?" Beakley asked turning the vacuum off.
"Er- yes, me and Goldie are gettin' married." Scrooge said looking at Beakley knowing she wouldn't approve of his choice.
"A word please?" she asked walking over to Scrooge picking him up by the collar of his shirt. They walked into her room and she closed the door.
"Are you sure you want to make her your permanent partner? This is forever." She said putting her hand on his shoulders.
"Aye. I love er'" He said offended yanking his shoulders back away from her.
"I know, but does she love you?" Beakley asked. To her, she was just looking out for Scrooge but in Scrooge's eyes, she was trying to get in between them.
"Beakley, I know what I want to do. I know you and her never really got along but... I love her and she loves me back!" Scrooge said angrily stomping out of the room. Beakley sighed and walked out shortly after.
"a 'feuchainn ri faighinn a-steach oirnn ... ge bith." Scrooge mumbled fixing his shoulder pads that Beakley had messed up when she put her hands on his shoulders.
"What was that about Scroogie?~" Goldie asked walking over to him and leaning on him.
"Ah, she just shared an opinion don't worry." Scrooge said looking at her.
"She really hates me huh?" Goldie chuckled.
"She doesnae hate ya... She just doesn't think we're made to go together." Scrooge said.
"Do you.. think we go together?" Goldie said looking at the beautiful golden ring Scrooge had gotten her.
"I know we do." Scrooge said reassuringly then bringing Goldie into a hug. The old man couldn't hug or comfort people very well, but the fact that he was trying meant a lot to her.
"We need ta do some plannin' though." Scrooge said guiding Goldie to the bed and sitting down.
"What kind of wedding, and where do we want it?" Scrooge asked.
"Well, I have somewhere in mind. There is a ballroom that was abandoned, we could fix it up and host it there. As for what kind I was thinking classical music type of wedding."
"That sounds perfect." Scrooge said.
"How do ye know me so well?" Scrooge asked
"Because you're a lot like me." Goldie said chuckling and resting her head on Scrooge's shoulder. Scrooge rested his head on hers.
"When do we want it?" Goldie asked. Scrooge got up and looked at the calendar he had hanging over his desk.
"How about a week from now?" Scrooge said looking at the calendar.
"Fine for me if it's fine for you," Goldie said smiling laying down. Scrooge grabbed a marker and circled the date to remember it then he went and joined Goldie in the bed. They laid in bed looking at each other for a while but eventually, they fell asleep. The next morning Scrooge woke up and Goldie wasn't there.
"I swear." He said sitting up looking around. She wasn't in sight. He sighed sadly and stood up, but he heard something crumble under his feet he looked down and he was standing on a piece of paper.

Scrooge chuckled and set the note aside. Like every other morning, Beakley came in with his tray of tea and the news.
"Morning sir, wheres Mrs.McDuck?" Beakley asked setting the tray down. Mrs.McDuck?
Wow, she was now McDuck. Scrooge handed her the note Goldie had left before Scrooge woke up."I see." Goldie said handing it back to him. She left him to enjoy his tea and read the paper. Scrooge had never married anybody before in his 150 years of life. And he's loved Goldie for a good portion of that 150 years. Well he had time to buy something fancy so, he went out to find the perfect tux.
He saw this one and knew it was perfect. He walked in causing the door to jingle. He looked around at the pretty shop.
"Welcome, welcome! Please do take a look around!" A women with a summer dress on came out and stood there.
"Hello, I'd like-"
"Wait wait wait, are you Scrooge McDuck?!!!" She asked her eyes glimmering.
"Yes, as I was saying I would like this tux please?" He said walking over to her with the tux in his size.
"Of course." She said walking behind the register and ringing him up.
"I can't believe the legendary Scrooge McDuck is in my shop!" She said happily. All of a sudden a couple different girls heads popped out from behind the walls.
"THE Scrooge McDuck?!" One asked.
"Scrooge McDuck?" Another asked
"No way! Not the REAL Scrooge McDuck." Another remarked.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!" One of the girls squealed. A single sweat bead ran down scrooge's cheek."Well, I best get going.." Scrooge chuckled handing her the money and slowly walking out. That was weird. He had met fans sure, but never like that. He continued walking and looked at each shop as he walked by. He had to buy, and set up all of the decorations. So, he went to a party shop.
"Welcome." a male voice greeted him as he walked in.
