This will be the last chapter of this story, epilogue will come after this.
With all deepest gratitude, I thank you for reaching this point. I know it's boring for some, and a bit complicated at some point but despite of all the imperfections of this story, I hope you got the essence and purpose of it. Though this story may come out for some of you looking like a trial and error, I wrote the first story in the series of Mar De Vena because I want to portray a reality that's so indifferent for almost. This will be the last time I'm saying this but Mar De Vena Series is all about finding the chaos in the quiet, and providing the immenseness in the simplest things, that love story was not always about plot twists but also being calm and plain.

"Lucy, where are you?" 

I whispered as I keep on dialing her number. She's out of reach, I badly want to talk to her. Hindi sila maayos ni Lourd at kailangan ko siyang makausap. She's not okay, kaibigan niya ako at nararamdaman ko kung may mali sa kaniya. 

Aalis na sana akong tuluyan sa kama ngunit mabilis ang ginawang pagpigil ni Levi sa akin. His eyes are still shut. His palm is on my stomach. 

"Levi, I have to go pee." I hissed.

"It's so early, why are you so upset?" 

Hinila ko ang kumot upang ibalot sa aking katawan. His massive body is flaunting on his king sized bed. 

"We have to go to work." 

Ramdam ko ang pangangapa niya sa akin, hind siya umimik ng pumasok ako sa kaniyang banyo. Mabuti na lang dahil wala rin kong balak na sagutin ang mga tanong niya. 

Kahit sa banyo ay sinubukan ko paring tawagan si Lucy. Nang sumuko na ay minessage ko na lamang si Lourd at sinabing tawagan niya ako kung nagkausap na silang dalawa. 

"Let's have some breakfast first." 

Seryoso sabi sa akin ni Levi. Hindi na ako nakipag talo dahil hindi ako makakapalag sa kaniya. He values our health the most, and mali rin kung kokontrahin ko pa siya. 

Tumutok ako sa cellphone habang hinihintay siyang matapos sa niluluto niya. I checked some common notifications I received. Isa ring message ni Ethan ang umagaw ng pansin ko. 

Ethan:

I'm in Manila. Let's catch up? I have to report some things for the non-profit orphanage.

Nagtipa naman ako. Naramdaman ko ang pailalim na titig ni Levi sa akin. 

Me:

Really? Alright, let's meet this afternoon.

Ang huling inilapag ni Levi ay ang Isang baso ng gatas. Umupo siya at agad kong nilapag ang cellphone ko. 

"It's Ethan. We'll meet this afternoon for the orphanage." 

"I'll tell it to my secretary. If ever I can do something about it and asked for some sponsors at least." He said putting some bacon on my plate.

Lumiwanag ang mga mata ko sa kaniyang sinabi. 

"Really?"

He smirked. 

"That makes you smile, huh?"

Ngumuso ako at muling nagpanggap na malungkot.

"You're so anxious early in the morning." 

"I can't contact Lucy and Lourd. Nag aalala lamang ako." 

Pansin ko ang pagsulyap niya. Tahimik kaming muli. Pero ng hindi matahimik ay isinatinig ko rin ang laman ng aking isipan.
