Swasan Always and Forever

Part 20

Ananya: By the way where did Bhai go?

Aadya: Oh he went his friend Sanskar.

As soon as Sanskar came out of Aadya's mouth, Swara's smile disappeared. It bought back all those memories she took time to let go off. Ruhi noticed her her expression.

Ruhi: Swara is everything ok?

Swara: (quickly putting on a fake smile) Yeah everything's fine! Anyways let's go through the plan once again. Does everyone know what they're doing? 

They replied with a yes in unison. 

Swara: Ok then umm Ananya and Ruhi can you go get Bhai it's almost time and me and Aadya will go Riya bhabhi ok?

Whilst Ananya and Ruhi went to get Arjun, Swara and Aadya went to Riya who was talking with the guests and Priya. They took them to the stage and executed their plan. After all the rituals and partying, the engagement was over and guests started going home. Whilst Priya and Arnav were escorting the guests out, Swara and the rest of the girls were cracking jokes and teasing the pair.

Arjun: Ok guys that's enough look at the time! 

Aadya: Bhai why are you in such a hurry? It's not even the wedding night yet.

Arjun: Aadya!!

Arjun gave her a glare whilst they all giggled.

Riya: Arjun calm down she's only joking.

They were all chattering when Sanskar came to them and Swara's smile once again disappeared and she looked the opposite way.

Arjun: Sanskar! What happened I thought you would've been in your room by now. It's really late.

Swara and Ruhi looked at each other with a confused expression wondering what Arjun meant by that. Arjun noticed their confused faces and realised that they were at work when they Sanskar came. 

Arjun: Oh sorry I forgot you two weren't here when he came. Sanskar will be staying with us until the wedding is over.

Ruhi: Oh ok that makes much more sense now! Hi I'm Ruhi!

Sanskar: Hi! Nice to meet you!

Ruhi: Swara you haven't introduced yourself yet.

Swara: Oh right hi. (she said in a low voice trying to avoid eye contact).

Sanskar: Hi. 

Arjun noticed the tension between them and decided to change the topic.

Arjun: Guys what are we doing here? It's really late now shouldn't we be going to sleep?

Ruhi: I know Bhai but we can't sleep and anyways me and Swara already decided that we were going out to eat ice cream.

Arjun: But there's ice cream at home why do want to go out so late?

Ruhi: Bhai please! It's not going to take much time. If not for me then for Swara?

Swara: Yes Bhai please!

Arjun: Ok ok fine! But I'm coming with you because of what happened last time!

Ruhi/Swara: Done! Thank you!

Arjun: Ok come on. 

As they were leaving Arjun saw that Sanskar was going to his room and thought of something.

Arjun: Sanskar come with us !

Sanskar: Sure!

Swara was sitting in the back seat when Sanskar also came in and sat next to her. She noticed him and immediately got out of the car and went to sit in the front seat instead but Riya had already sat there. She thought it would be rude if she told Riya to move from there so she took a deep breath and went to the back seat. She decided to put on a firm face and not let her emotions show otherwise all the efforts she made would be wasted. Throughout the drive, Sanskar kept staring at Swara and Swara knew he was but it made no difference to her. She had enough of this drama and she decided to let go ages ago and she made it clear to herself that no matter what he does, it wouldn't effect her. 

Arjun: Here we are! You guys go whilst me and Riya will wait here.

Aadya: Of course! You wouldn't want anyone playing gooseberry here would you?

Arjun: Aadya!

Aadya: What? Not saying I was going to.

Arjun: Just wait until your number comes. Then we'll see who's playing gooseberry.

Aadya: That means you agree with me! You do think we would've been playing gooseberry!

Before Arjun could could scold her, the girls took her inside. When they reached, the looked at each other and burst out laughing. 

Swara: Aadya you are completely mental! What was the need to annoy him so much.

Aadya: It was needed! After all Bhai annoys us so much so this is pay back.

They all were laughing whilst going to the table when Swara stopped behind.

Ananya: Swara what happened come on!

Swara: You all go ahead I'll be there. I think there's a small stone in my shoe.

Ananya: Sure?

Swara: Absolutely! Go.

They went sat on the table whilst Swara was trying to get the stone out of her shoe, she was about to get up when Sanskar came in and bumped into her. She was about to fall when he caught her just in time. They looked into each other's eyes and saw pain. The pain of being away from each other from 2 years. The pain of losing the trust they had for each other. Swara broke the eyelock and moved away from him. Without saying anything she went to table and sat down reading the menu. It hurt Sanskar to know that she was ignoring him but he knew that he deserved it. She was hurt because of him but she didn't even know the whole truth. He decided that he would get her back no matter what it takes. Swara excused herself and went to the toilet and Sanskar saw this as an oppurtunity to talk to her so he went inside as well. He pulled Swara into a cubicle covering her mouth so that she wouldn't scream. 

Sanskar: Swara please listen to me! This is important I need to tell you this! I know you may not believe but at least hear me out.

Sanskar noticed Swara wasn't saying anything.

Sanskar: Why aren't you saying anything?

Swara, who was burning in fury, bit his hand which was covering his mouth. 

Sanskar: Ow!

Swara: What happened? Did I hurt you? Is it paining? Good because this is nothing compared how much you hurt me and the pain you gave me. Get out of my way before I do something untoward.

Sanskar: Swara please listen to me!
