Swasan Always and Forever

Part 21

Sanskar: Swara please listen to me! This is important I need to tell you this! I know you may not believe but at least hear me out.

Sanskar noticed Swara wasn't saying anything.

Sanskar: Why aren't you saying anything?

Swara, who was burning in fury, bit his hand which was covering his mouth.

Sanskar: Ow!

Swara: What happened? Did I hurt you? Is it paining? Good because this is nothing compared how much you hurt me and the pain you gave me. Get out of my way before I do something untoward.

Sanskar: Swara please listen to me!

Swara: Enough! What do you think of yourself?! You betrayed me and when I finally move on you come to me with your fake apology! No Mr Maheshwari, I've had enough of this! You didn't think about all this 2 years ago so why now? So please get out of my way and anyways this is a ladies toilet and you aren't allowed here so please go before someone comes in!

Sanskar: I don't care! I don't care if this is a ladies toilet or if someone comes in! All I know is that I am not leaving until you hear me out!

He holds her with force and pushes her against the wall of the cubicle. Swara chuckles sarcastically.

Swara: So finally your real avatar came out! All you know is force and revenge. Just like how you got your revenge from me 2 years ago.

Sanskar: Enough! You've said what you wanted to now listen to me. I didn't-

As he was about to say Swara pushed him off her and got out of the bathroom quickly. Sanskar punched his fist on the wall angrily.

Sanskar: Why won't you listen to me? I know I don't deserve your forgiveness but at least let me tell you the truth. 

Back at the table, the girls just received their order when Swara came out. She quickly wiped her tears so that no one would question her.

Ruhi: Finally! Come on our order is here!

Swara gave a faint smile and sat down. She didn't talk much as she kept thinking about what happened recently. She was finally happy and at that moment he decided to show up. Ruhi noticed her and thought something was wrong.

Ruhi: Swara! Where are you lost? Is everything ok?

Swara: Yeah everything's fine! We should go it's getting late. 

Ruhi: Now? But we convinced Bhai with much difficulty shall we stay here for a little longer?

Swara: Fine you can but I'm going in the car. Come when you're finished.

Aadya: (spit out her milkshake as she heard Swara) No no no! Don't go in the car you will ruin Bhai and Bhabhi's moment!

They all gave a glare to Aadya indicating to her to shut up whilst Swara faintly smiled and left from there without saying another word. She went into the car and Arjun was surprised seeing her alone coming towards him, so he got out of the car and went to her. 

Arjun: Swara? What happened? Why are you here alone? Did they pester you? I'll have a word with them.

Swara: No Bhai everything's fine. I finished early and decided to come in the car and it's getting late anyways. I have to go to the office tomorrow. I have a meeting.

Arjun: Don't lie to me. I have gotten to know you well enough now that I can tell when you're lying.

Swara: Bhai I don't know what you're talking about. I told you I have a meeting tomorrow you can even check with Ruhi.

Arjun: Do you really think I'm stupid enough to believe you? Swara this is the same face you had when you first met us. Now tell me what's wrong?

Swara couldn't hold it back anymore. She broke down crying and fell to the floor. Arjun couldn't see her in this condition and quickly went beside her and held her.

Arjun: Swara! What happened? Tell me please!

Swara: Bhai am I a bad person? 

Arjun: What are you talking about of course not! Why are saying this?

Swara: Then why is it always that when I finally have a ray of sunshine in my life there's always a storm following it? I spent a whole 2 years trying to move on and when I do he shows up and all my efforts just go down the drain!

Arjun: Who are you talking about?

Swara: Sanskar! My ex-husband Mr Sanskar Maheshwari! The Sanskar Maheshwari who betrayed me and had an affair with another woman just to get revenge on me! The Sanskar Maheshwari who killed my daughter just a week after she was born! 

Arjun knew all of this but it still shocked him seeing his sister like that on the floor in that condition. Unknowingly, tears streamed out of his eyes.

Arjun: Swara get up. Swara please.

Swara: I've been trying to get up all this time Bhai. But now I realised that I was always in the same place. So what's the point of this now?

Riya noticed all this from a distance and she was shocked witnessing the scene held before he, so se immediately got out of the car and ran towards Swara and Arjun.

Riya: Swara! Arjun! Arjun what's going on? What happened to Swara?

Arjun: Riya I'll tell all of this to you later but for now please take care of Swara. I'm going to get Ruhi.

Arjun ran inside and quickly went to Ruhi. He whispered something in her ear to which she came running outside and saw Swara on the floor sobbing uncontrollably. Her heart broke to see her like this and she immediately ran to her to be by her side.

Ruhi: Swara! Bhai what is going on?

Before Arjun could speak further Swara fainted.

Ruhi/Riya: Swara!

Arjun: Ruhi, Riya hurry up take her inside the car!

Ruhi and Riya took her inside the car and Swara's head rested on Ruhi's lap. She tried waking her up by splashing water on her and patting her but all went in vain. 

Ruhi: Bhai she's not waking up!

Arjun: I'm taking her to hospital in Accident and Emergency! Just keep trying!

They drove to the hospital and took her inside. They admitted her into a ward whilst they waited anxiously for the doctor to come and check up on her. When the doctor arrived they all stood up eagerly waiting for the doctor to speak. When the doctor finished the check up they bombarded him with questions.

Arjun: Doctor how is she now? 

Riya: What happened to her?

Ruhi: Is she ok?

Doctor: Relax it's nothing serious. She fainted because of stress and tension.I have taken some tests and the reports will arrive shortly. Don't worry. But can you tell me if anything like this has happened in the past so that we can take that into consideration of her reports? 

Arjun: Yes it happened but it was a year ago. She got diagnosed with depression but she overcame that.

Doctor: It might've been that the reason behind her depression came in front of her and reminded her of something? Well it could be but we can't say much until the reports arrive but please don't worry everything's fine.
