i fucking hate you, kim jisoo

-

night fell a few hours even before you reached an unfamiliar bridge.

jisoo held your hand the entire time you were walking, getting lost together in the moonlit streets of the city of love, and under the stars of the majestic evening sky.

you glanced at a huge clock tower far enough from where you're currently seated at. "it's only half an hour left before midnight."

you smiled as you turned towards the brunette, who's already staring back at you with a huge smile plastered on her face.

and you thought there's no better way to end your day than sitting on a bench in the middle of a bridge in paris, with kim jisoo staring at you lovingly, smiling, and securely holding your hand in hers.

"it is." she said, brushing strands of loose hair away from your face and caressing one side of your flushed cheeks with her thumb. "you're happy."

it wasn't a question.

"i am, chu." you mumbled back as you nodded lightly in agreement, a smile gracing your lips as well. "thank you." you slowly leaned in to press a soft kiss against jisoo's grinning bow-shaped lips.

you pulled away after a few seconds, and you let out a short, contented sigh. jisoo smiled at you even wider before standing up and pulling you towards one particular side of the bridge where hundreds and millions of colorful padlocks were sealed securely on the old, metal railings.

"pont des arts; that's the name of this bridge." she said, stopping right in front of the locks you're eyes are currently glued onto. "this is where couples put padlocks with their names written on it and throw the key into the river to seal their love forever."

"so this is what you wanted to show me so badly?" you giggled as you touched a pair of padlock sealed securely on the railings, which caused the older girl's smile to widen even more.

"no," she leaned in to kiss you on the cheek before reaching a hand down the pocket of her coat. "this is."

she pulled her hand out, revealing a small red velvet jewelry box. you bit your lip as you glanced at her back up.

"jisoo, you know you didn't have to."

letting out a light chuckle, the brunette just continued to hand you the box, patiently waiting for you to finally take it. "but i wanted to. just open it."

you did as she told you, and you felt your heart completely drop to the bottom of your stomach the second your eyes landed on what's inside the box; two golden heart-shaped padlocks with both of your names engraved on each of the smooth, plated metal surface.

you turned to look at her wide-eyed, but she was only staring at you with an adoring smile, gaze loving and held rather strongly towards you.

"i fucking hate you, kim jisoo." you breathed out before wrapping your arms around her neck and immediately pulling her in for the most passionate of kisses.

you felt butterflies and fireballs explode in your stomach.

jisoo chuckled in between your kiss, and even when you pulled away, she was still laughing at you rather adoringly. "do you think it's a good idea? i had to bribe lali a lot of french fries just to get those padlocks engraved within the day."

"idiot. how on earth are you so good at wooing a girl?" you bit your lip, hitting her solid on the chest with your fist yet smiling right after, nonetheless. "i think it's the best idea."

the brunette laughed as she shuffled your hair in a mess once again, taking the padlock with her name on it and unlocking it using the gold plated key. you did the same, and you sealed your love locks on the metal railings of the bridge together before throwing the key into the river below.

you sighed in content.

turning to face jisoo once again, your hands reached for either sides of her face, only to mesh your lips with hers slowly and lovingly. she held you by the waist, and you spoke to each other silently through your shared kiss in the middle of the bridge under the stars.

jisoo wiped the tears that started escaping your hazelnut eyes, pulling away from the kiss only to lean her forehead against yours lovingly.

"je t'aime."

the statement just made you cry even more, feeling the familiar sensation of soft tingles down your spine. "i love you, too, chu."
