Remus was shocked to say the least when he found out he was having a child, he also had doubts. Turns out they both had the same doubts, they were worried their child would be burdened with what each went through, and neither were worried about the child getting the other person's so called burden. Hedy didn't care whether or not her child was a werewolf, she was worried because her child would be half god which meant she would have some 'ability', what Hedy would give to make sure her child didn't have to suffer like she does. Remus, on the other hand, didn't care if his child had an ability, sure he would prefer it not to be like Hedy's if it really was as bad as she said but he was more focused on the fact that he could've given his lycanthropy to the little one.

It had been a few days, now it was Bill and Fleur's wedding day, and the two had come to terms that no matter what their child would go through, they would be there to protect it. They were still ify, but after talking to her siblings and his friends they realized that their child was a blessing, one they should cherish. They hadn't told anyone else yet because Hedy refused to take away from Bill and Fleur's spotlight, so they would announce it sometime after.

The wedding was quite beautiful, and big, they wanted to have a happy celebration despite the troubling times. Remus felt bad that Hedy couldn't have had that for her wedding, but she reassured him that she didn't care because she never liked being in the spotlight anyways so having it intimate was the way she would've wanted it anyways. The wedding was extremely fun, with laughter and dancing and just being with each other. But like all good things, it came to end, this time the end came in the form of a patronus.

"The Minister of Magic is dead. The Ministry has fallen. They are coming. They are coming!" Panic ensued throughout all the guests, people apparating all around, trying to get away before they came. It wasn't even a minute later that figures in black smoke starting to swarm.

"Hedy! Get out of here! Go!" Remus tried to get her to leave but she thought that was ridiculous.

"No! If you're here, I'm here." With that she turned into her grey smoke to try and catch some of those in black, maybe draw them away from the guests. Remus didn't have time to stop her, he was thrown into trying to battle a few Death Eaters, he got Harry to leave to safety so that was good. Eventually the Death Eaters thought they had done enough damage and left, leaving the Weasleys and their friends in the mess of what was a beautiful wedding.

"Where's Hedy!?" Ajax yelled looking to Remus.

"I -I don't know, she took off after some of them."

"Fuck! I really hate those people." The group turned at the sound of her voice, there she was grey smoke disappearing behind her, they just laughed while Remus hugged her, she could tell by his eyes he was asking if she was okay, if they were both okay, and she nodded because this time they were.

The months passed slower now, especially because the Marauders, James and Lily especially, were worried sick about Harry. All they knew was that Dumbledore gave him a task that he had to do and they couldn't go with him. In this situation Hedy's gift was a curse and a blessing, sure she could feel anytime someone died but that also meant she knew who died because she could talk to them. It became an everyday thing now.

"Was it them?" Either James or Lily would ask her basically anytime they saw her, and her response was always the same.

"Not this time." That's all she would say, she knew it probably wasn't the nicest way to say it but she wasn't the nicest person, that's what happens when you're in pain every second of your life.

The summer turned into fall and fall became winter. Now it was sometime mid-december and other than worrying about Harry all the group did was sit around and wait for news, waiting to hear if they're friends have died. They were basically in hiding besides the fact that they hadn't left the mansion, which the Death Eaters knew the location of. Some wondered why they weren't being attacked but Hedy knew they wanted Harry and Harry wouldn't come back even if they died. He wasn't that stupid, at least she hoped he wasn't, she was relying on him not being that stupid, otherwise they were screwed.
