"The world is split into many different kingdoms with many different opinions and beliefs. We haven't had any idea how to connect them. There are so many different species, and the mortal world is completely disconnected from what they consider 'fantasy.'"
An old fairy pointed to what looked like cave writings on some kind of ancient scroll made from semicorn hide, the audience surrounding her silent.
"We have rediscovered this relic within the last year, and after much of lord Valmer's research, we have come up with a theory."
Jesus took over, probably to explain things in his simple way that everyone could understand, no matter how far fetched the stories the half angel told seemed.
"One day- Maryll, are you writing this down?" He paused, allowing the elf to nodd, showing her notepad. "One day within the next thousand years, we will have a great leader be born. He will fall from heaven, and experience the entire world for himself."
"That's it? Seriously?" a fat orc scowled. "That isn't gonna help us with communication between the kingdoms and the realms, is it?"
"Cartman, sir, please allow me to finish. You shouldn't have immediately thought I was done. I have much more to say."
"This is what we're trying to solve! The fighting!" A satyr bleated out, everyone ignoring them. They were already thinking that.
"As I was saying. This young man will befriend a creature from each of the big kingdoms, and this friendship will affect how the entire world is run. We'll have peace, we'll have freedom. We'll be able to communicate with the mortals, the demons, the angels, everyone."Everyone gasped. They couldn't imagine an angel of all things befriending anything but their own kind, especially a demon. Angels were known for their horrible judgement of other species. Hell was the second largest kingdom, despite it's horrible reputation. It was probably because of overpopulation. There was no way this young man could change everything without Hell being involved.
Every one of them left feeling uneasy. There wasn't any way to prove this would happen.
They only had hope to guide them, now.
Chapter 1:
Craig groaned, ruffling his grey and brown feathers as he tried to force himself awake. In all honesty, he just wanted to sleep forever. It would be a lot less scary to live in a dream than real life.
Finally, Stripe woke him up. The small fluffy dragon nipped at his ear, making him giggle and forcing him awake. The dragon seemed to screech out 'I'm hungry' and Craig flew up to the bin full of dragon care products, toys, and food. He filled a small bowl with the little pixie and niphredil flavored pellets. Honestly he didn't understand why dragons ate that stuff. Pixies were pests and niphredil, while pretty, were just plain old weeds. He shrugged it off and placed the food on a lower shelf that Stripe could get to easily.
Craig sighed, opening his dresser. Today was Sunday. The day he dreaded the most out of any day in the week. He looked around his dresser.
He was expected to wear a full suit, as he was a prince and it was necessary. He didn't even know why Sunday was the day everyone decided they should be all fancy for no reason but to make laws and stuff. He would much rather do that in sweat pants and a jacket.
He put on a white suit with caramel trim, black trousers, black dress shoes, and a brown tie. He hated the whole suit but it was a lot better than the black one or the purple one he had. He sighed, combing the hair he would normally have just hid beneath his favorite chullo. He wasn't allowed to wear hats on Sunday unless they were 'proper.'
