"Video Log 1." The voice from behind the camera seemed anxious.

"Location: Planet Terris, Santerra floating island, Santerra University and Lab of science." A young-looking bi-pedal creature appeared in front of the screen. She looked strange, with a cat-like nose, long rabbit ears, strange antennas where her eyebrows should be, a long fuzzy tail, and brown and black spots on white fur. Her legs were similar to a dog standing on its hind legs. She wore a dusty, slightly burnt lab coat, gloves, and goggles.

"My name is Moxi, and my current goal with Project Kynon is to create a semi-organic A.I. to explore the far reaches of space. We already have a lot of information about the solar system we exist in, but we still have lots to learn. The semi organic functions will allow it to regenerate damaged parts, while the technological parts will give it infinite information and access to an internal journal that will be sent back to our planet over time."

Moxi removed a white sheet from the low table, revealing a grey, fox-like robot. It had organic parts such as a brain and nervous system. It didn't have any bones, or stomach.

"This is the skeleton of Kynon 1.0. They don't have any skin on them, and we're still loading in needed data. The brain and nervous system, as well as the other organic parts we'll be adding were all grown in our lab." She pointed to the various parts.

"I hope to film another update in two months."

"Video log 2"

Moxi again, introduced herself and her project. This time, she was joined by another scientist. This one didn't have bunny-like features or a cat nose. Instead they had yellow skin, a flat nose, reddish-brown hair and yellow antennas. They appeared more human than Moxi, however what you don't see is the slug-like bottom that they used to slither around.

"My name is Riley and I am the assistant assigned to Moxi."

They went on about the Kynon Project. Kynon now had more structure and organic parts in their skeleton, as well as three computers which would process and save data.

These logs continued, each time they showed the updates of Kynon and what they had added. Eyes that could see every color, grey fur, glowing orange bits. They added a waterproof layer before adding the skin and fur, meaning that Kynon could safely go underwater.

They began creating more of them, and by the 12th log, roughly two years had passed and they had ten kynons, each with unique abilities. They had made one solely for water research, a bird-like one to explore planets similar to Terris with multiple layers or floating islands, one that could dig and explore caves easier, the list went on.

After the 13th log of them sending the Kynons out, the logs continued and showed the data that had been collected and the videos that had been sent.

It had only been six months when data stopped being sent. The last message they received was "Red planet, life detected."

Two years later when Moxi had been demoted due to her failed project, she was sent a video from the first Kynon that had been created.

Buildings were falling, people were at war. And then, an explosion.

The second message, and the last ever sent, read "I didn't cause this. You caused this."
