The next weekend...

Ellie spent the whole week at Sam's house because she had nothing to do at her own house. Her mother also had a business trip to attend to, so she didn't want to be home alone.

"Good morning beautiful." Sam whispers as Ellie slowly opens her eyes on a Saturday morning.

"Good morning Sammy." Ellie quietly replies.

They make their way downstairs to the kitchen and begin to make breakfast, it was only 10 in the morning. Later, the rest of Sam's family come downstairs too. His mom, his other mom, his older brother, and his dog. They all greet Ellie with hugs.

12pm...

Ellie and Sam return to his bedroom and Ellie plops back down on his bed. Sam walks to the other side of his room and closes the curtains so that they aren't blinding Ellie. He then later lays down next to her, she's already fallen asleep. He can't blame her though, she had three tests this week so she must be pretty tired. Ellie pulled him closer and that startled him but he wasn't that scared.

"Hi." Ellie said as she hugged him tighter.

"Hi." Sam mimics her then she giggles. For a moment they stopped talking, they just started staring into each other's eyes. Neither of them felt awkward about this but Sam was cold.

He covered both of them in his blankets, as they slept in longer Ellie was making cute noises in his arms. She climbed on top of him and put her head on his chest and fell back asleep, Sam also fell asleep as well.

1pm...

As Sam opened his eyes once again he realized that it was already 1 and Ellie was still asleep.

"Hey." Sam tried to wake her up but she gave no response. He had to go to the bathroom so he did.

Ellie woke up in tears and when she saw that her best friend wasn't there to comfort her she got even more sad. Her cries weren't loud enough for Sam to hear her so he couldn't.

As Sam made his way back to his room he heard sniffling and quiet crying. He immediately opened the door and quickly rushed to Ellie, who was crying in his sheets.

"Hey Ellie, what's wrong?" Sam asked. She turned to him and hugged him when she realized that he came back.

"Nothing." Ellie lies.

"Oh come on. Seriously, what's wrong?" Sam knew Ellie very well so he could tell whether she was lying or not.

"It's just-" Ellie cuts herself off. She looked at him as if she wanted to kiss him. Ellie sits herself on top of Sam's lap.

"I love you." Ellie said with a sad smile.

"O-Oh. I know Ellie. I love you too. Why were you crying?" Sam asked.

"I-I had a dream... It was really scary because someone took you away from me. Then when I woke up and I saw that you weren't there, I got even more sad. I love you." Ellie cries.

Sam knew that he couldn't just say that it's okay because he knew how much she cared about him and she knows how much he cares about her. All he could do is hug her, so that's what he did.

Ellie and Sam decide to stay in and not do anything that Saturday. They watch TV in Sam's room in their pajamas since they weren't going to do anything that day.

3pm...

Sam's moms come into the room with a tray of sandwiches and sodas.

"Thanks." Sam said to his family.

"Thank you!" Ellie muffles, with her mouth almost full.

7pm...

¨I'm tired." Ellie said.

¨Same.¨ Sam replies as he disposes the tray of sandwiches.

As both of them take separate showers, Ellie gets a text message.

8pm...

They return to Sam's room and Sam notices that Ellie got a text message from a random person. They read it together.

Hey Ellie. It's Joshua.

You wanna go out?

"Um." Ellie stares at her phone.

Ellie texts back.

hey, um sure i'll go out with you.
only if you're not a creepy stalker.

Sam looks at Ellie wondering if she had made the best decision or the worst mistake of her life.

"What?" Ellie curiously asked.

"Nothing. Let's go to bed." Sam said then pulls the sheets over him.

"Okay." Ellie has a huge smile on her face and shuts off the lights.
