Jack dropped his sleeping bag at their spot and looked at the others. "I missed this place. Let's get the tents set up and explore some nature."

Corbyn grinned. "Yeah. Maybe we'll meet a bear."

Jonah laughed as he set down his own sleeping bag. "According to the weather, there will be no rain so we can sleep under the stars. But we should set up tents just in case."

"Can we do that later? I placed a bet with Zach on who could fish the best," Jack said.

"Go on you two," Daniel mumbled.

"Are you okay?" Jonah asked.

Daniel nodded. "My stomach hurts a bit. I'll be fine. Let's get this trip started."

The trip soon came to an end and the boys were playing football in the woods for the last two hours of their trip. "I got it!" Zach yelled.

He and Daniel collided and they fell into a bush. Laughing, they got up and ended up heading to the car. During the long drive home Zach began to itch. "Dani..."

Daniel nodded as he scratched his shoulder. "I-I think it was poison ivy."

Jonah looked in the rearview mirror. "Oh, I'm sorry boys. Let's stop at the pharmacy and get some medicine."

Finally, they arrived at the home and got Daniel and Zach settled. Zach began to cry when Corbyn told him to stop scratching. Corbyn got string and oven mitts. "What for?" Zach sobbed.

"Because you won't stop scratching and I don't want you to scar," Corbyn replied as he put the oven mitts on Zach.

"Isn't that for chickenpox," Zach pouted.

"It's for both. Now sit still," Corbyn sighed as he finished tying the string. "You can go rest now."

Jack led Zach upstairs and Corbyn turned to Daniel. "How are you handling yourself? You better not be scratching."

Daniel bit his lip to keep from crying. The itchiness was too painful to deal with and now his head was hurting. Corbyn pulled Daniel to the couch and had him curl up next to him. Daniel finally managed to doze off. Corbyn was half asleep as he ran his fingers up and down Daniel's arm.

Daniel woke up to his stomach cramping worse. His mouth began to water and chills ran down his body. He bolted for the bathroom and Corbyn sat up. "Dani?

Daniel collapsed in front of the toilet gagging. He couldn't remember a time when he felt sicker. Corbyn knocked on the door. "Let me in buddy. Please just let me in."

Daniel looked desperately at the door but felt too weak to stand up. "I can't right now. Just give me a minute."

Corbyn pouted. "I'll have medication out here for you when you're ready."

Almost an hour later Daniel walked into the kitchen. He didn't think he could make it any further and grabbed the counter before he fell. Corbyn quickly got up and ran to him. "Awww baby I'm sorry. I know you don't feel good."

Daniel rested against Corbyn, closing his eyes. Corbyn smiled. "Let's get you upstairs and in bed."

Daniel didn't move and Corbyn looked at him. "You okay?"

"I don't feel like I can move. I feel really weak," Daniel murmured in a slurred voice.

"Are you sure you don't have severe allergies to poison ivy? This isn't a normal response to it," Corbyn mumbled.

"Mhm," Daniel murmured.

Corbyn picked up Daniel and carried him into the bed. "I'll be downstairs helping Jonah finish that song."

"Please stay with me Corbs," Daniel pleaded.

Corbyn got into the bed and pulled Daniel against his chest. "I'm right here. Just go to sleep."

Jack walked upstairs and went to check on the others. "Hey. How are you two doing?"

"I'm alright," Corbyn replied, absentmindedly stroking Daniel's hair. "He seems worse."

Jack gave Daniel a sympathetic smile. "It's good that he's sleeping. Do you need anything?"

Corbyn shook his head. "I don't think so."

That night Daniel woke up feeling worse. He glanced at his shoulder and realized the rash from the poison ivy was spreading towards his back. He looked at Corbyn and realized he was asleep. Daniel began frantically scratching at the rash. Corbyn woke up and looked at Daniel. "Dani, don't make me do what I did to Zach."

Daniel pouted and flopped against Corbyn. "It hurts."

"I know it does," Corbyn said gently.

Daniel ran a hand through his hair. "Mmmmm," he moaned.

"How you feeling?" Corbyn asked worriedly.

"Really nauseous," Daniel murmured, trying his best to stay still.

Daniel felt everything shift down and he ran to the bathroom. Corbyn sighed and approached the bathroom door. "Baby let me in."

"No," Daniel pouted.

After a few minutes Daniel appeared in the doorway looking more pale than before. Tears were running down his face and he looked miserable. Corbyn got up and hugged him. "Let's try and get some sleep."

Daniel nodded and curled up in the bed. Corbyn put an arm around Daniel as he dozed off.

That next morning Daniel woke up feeling better. His arm was sore and itchy but his stomach felt better. He turned over and saw that Corbyn wasn't in bed. He made his way downstairs and found Corbyn in the kitchen making breakfast. "Hey."

Corbyn turned and smiled. "Feeling better?"

"Yeah. Much better," Daniel replied scratching his shoulder.

"Don't scratch Dani," Corbyn sighed.

Daniel pouted but stopped scratching. "Yeah fine."

I know this is my 2nd one for Daniel but I really liked the request. I hope you enjoyed this part. Requests are still open. Stay safe. Love you guys ♥️
