Jonah walked through the house until he found Zach coming out of the bathroom looking pale. "You okay babe?"

Zach nodded. "I'll be alright. Just an upset stomach."

Jonah frowned. "Zach?"

"I'm fine," Zach lied and went downstairs.

Jonah shrugged and went into his room to get dressed. As he was brushing his teeth Zach appeared at the door. "Jon."

Jonah modded. "What is it?"

"I'm not sure," Zach muttered.

Jonah turned off the sink. "What's wrong?"

Zach winced. "My stomach is cramping so much."

Jonah pulled Zach into a hug. "You want to go lay down?"

"Yeah but I'd like to use the bathroom first," Zach mumbled.

Jonah modded and left the room. After a few minutes, Zach joined him in the bed. "Feeling better?"

Zach shook his head. "Worse actually."

Jonah ran his fingers through Zach's hair until he fell asleep. Jonah got up and went downstairs. "Hey Corbyn."

Corbyn smiles. "Hey. Where's Zach?"

"Takin a nap," Jonah replied. "He's not feeling well."

"Just make sure to wake him up in an hour," Corbyn replied. "The interview."

Jonah's eyes widened. "Oh yeah."

Daniel and Jack appeared in the kitchen. "I can't wait for our album to come out."

"It's so close!" Daniel said.

"I am so ready for it," Jonah replied enthusiastically. "Can you believe how close it is?"

The hour passed and Corbyn went upstairs. "Z, wake up."

"What?" Zach moaned.

Corbyn sat beside Zach. "It's time for the interview. It's virtual so we don't have to go anywhere."

Zach shook his head as his stomach continued to get worse. Corbyn looked worriedly at his friend, thinking it was probably food poisoning. "You look kind of pale."

Zach didn't respond and Corbyn began to get even more concerned. "Z, did you eat something bad? What's going on?"

"I don't know," Zach mumbled.

Corbyn felt Zach's head for a fever. "You nauseous?"

"Very," Zach answered.

"Besson, get down here," Jack called. "You too Herron."

Corbyn sighed. "I'll tell them you're sick. Here's a trash can just in case but I have to go. Call if you need anything."

Corbyn ran downstairs and sat next to Jonah. "I'm sorry."

"Where's Z?" Daniel asked as he adjusted the microphone.

"He's really not feeling well. Said he was nauseous," Corbyn said.

"And? Doesn't mean he can't come down here," Jack grumbled.

"He really is sick. His stomach was hurting him really bad," Corbyn said.

"Cameras on boys," Caspary said.

"What's up its Why Don't We!!" The boys yelled.

"I'm Jack."

"I'm Daniel."

"I'm Corbyn."

"I'm Jonah."

"Zach isn't feeling well so he's upstairs sleeping," Daniel explained.

The next morning Zach seemed to be feeling worse. He walked downstairs to breakfast and collapsed on the couch. Jack approached his friend. "Are you okay?"

"No," Zach moaned. "My stomach hurts."

Jack felt Zach's stomach and noticed it was slightly larger than normal. "I'm so sorry. You want medicine?"

Zach didn't respond as he got up and went to the bathroom. Jonah walked in. "Any better?"

Jack shook his head as he went into the kitchen and poured a cup of coffee. "Jonah, I think we should take him to the doctor today or tomorrow."

"Yeah, I have time tomorrow," Jonah replied as Zach walked back into the room. "How you feeling buddy?"

Zach shook his head as he sat on the couch. Jonah went to his boyfriend. "Why don't you try eating a bowl of cereal?"

Zach nodded and took the bowl out of Daniel's hand and took a bite. When his stomach didn't clench he took another bite. Jonah sat beside him, rubbing his back. "Keep it up."

Zach shook his head. "I can't anymore. My stomach feels too full."

"You did fine. I just needed you to eat a little bit." Jonah assured Zach.

That night Jonah woke up to the bathroom light on. Tired, he dozed off again. "Jonah!" Zach yelled.

Jonah hurried into the bathroom, half asleep. "Babe, what's going on? Aw did you throw up?"

Zach gagged in response. Jonah soaked a towel and placed it on Zach's neck. Corbyn walked in yawning. "What's going on in here? Why did Zach yell?"

Tears streamed down Zach's face as the pain seemed to get worse. "It hurts so much worse."

Jonah stroked Zach's hair. "Get it all up then we'll go straight to the hospital."

Jack and Daniel walked into the room sleepily. "Oh Z. I'll go start the car." Jack sighed.

Daniel who couldn't handle puking sounds followed Jack. Corbyn went downstairs to get a water bottle for his band mate.

Jonah sat on the floor behind Zach and whispered gently in his ear for several minutes. Zach eventually rested weakly against his boyfriend. "Let's get you to the hospital."

"No," Zach pouted.

"Why not?" Jonah asked as he led the boy downstairs.

"I don't want to get sick in the car..." Zach mumbled.

Jonah searches the kitchen and pulled out a bag. "You can use this. Come on buddy."

It didn't take more than fifteen minutes to get there. Jonah shook Zach's shoulder. "Wake up baby. We're here."

Zach moaned but didn't move. Jonah lifted him into his arms and carried him to the waiting room. "He's been having severe stomach pains. Not appendicitis but still bad. We don't know what's wrong."

"A doctor will be with you soon," the nurse said.

Jonah nodded and laid Zach on some chairs. While they waited, Zach sat up with a hand over his mouth. "Z?" Jonah asked.

Zach didn't respond as he threw up on the hospital floor. "Jon," he sobbed.

Corbyn and Daniel quickly stood around Zach so that people couldn't see him. Jonah finally managed to get Zach on his feet and a nurse took them to the emergency room while a cleaner arrived.

The doctor walked in an hour later and Jonah woke Zach up. The doctor smiled. "I apologize for being late. The tests and ultrasounds came late."

Zach was in too much pain to respond. Jonah sighed. "Not a problem."

"Well while we were checking the tests we did find something. Zach has IBS also known as irritable bowel syndrome. Causes all the symptoms you explained. He'll be fine, here's some medicine and if it continues you should come back. There isn't too much we can do. Give him that with pain medication. This is one of those things that come back. It doesn't really go away."

When the boys got home Zach fell asleep on the couch while the others watched Netflix.

Not a great ending but I kind of liked this one. It took so long to write because I was researching it and studying for school. Requests are open. Hope you enjoyed this part. Stay safe everyone ❤️
