I'm in love with this pic of Corbyn but anyways enjoy the story.

"Let's get going boys," Jon called as he walked into Daniel's house. "Tyler. Christian. Are you two coming?"
"Nah, I have some work to do," Christian replied.
"I have a date," Tyler said. "Isn't that right Kobe," Tyler said kneeling down to pet the excited dog.
Jack walked downstairs with Lavender. "Has my mom come yet?"
"Not yet. I can watch her until she gets here," Christian replied.
"I promise you Corbyn. You'll be fine," Jonah was saying as they walked downstairs.
Zach put a hand on Corbyn's shoulder. "I'm anxious too. We'll do it together."
Daniel walked through the back door. "Are we ready?" he asked as they headed to the car.
"No," Corbyn and Zach said in unison.
They arrived at the airstrip and Daniel found himself reassuring Zach as they got on the plane. Jonah turned to Corbyn as he put on his gear. "You okay?"
Corbyn shrugged as the plane took off. The instructor walked over as they got to the field where they would jump. He got the boys set up and nodded when he was sure everything was secure. "Remember to release your parachute after forty-five seconds. Jack, go on."
Jack grinned and jumped from the plane. Jonah was next, followed by Daniel. Zach and Corbyn exchanged looks before going. The instructor noticed something and frowned. "Captain, circle for a little bit. I think something's wrong."
Corbyn and Zach grinned at each other as they released their parachutes. "This really is fun!"
"Isn't it? It's freeing," Zach said.
Corbyn was about to respond when he heard a click. Zach frowned as he looked at his friend. Something was wrong but he didn't know what. Before anyone could react the lines on the left of his parachute snapped causing him to begin freefalling. "Corbs!" Zach screamed.
Jack highfived Jonah as they approached the van that was taking them back to the airstrip. They'd landed several feet away from where they should've. "Dani!" They cheered as they watched Daniel land a few feet away. Jack looked at the sky and gasped. "Corbyn!"
Jonah was too horrified to move. Everything was happening in slow motion. Daniel who was excitedly heading towards the van gasped when he noticed Corbyn. After what felt like forever Corbyn hit the ground hard. Daniel ran to the boy. Corbyn almost appeared lifeless. Daniel's eyes filled with tears. "Corbyn, please wake up," Jonah pleaded.
Corbyn gave a small moan and Zach sighed with relief. "Can you hear us?"
Corbyn blinked lazily as he tried to push himself up. Jonah rubbed his back. "No. Don't move buddy."
Jack took advantage of Corbyn laying on his stomach and gently felt along his spine to feel for any damage. There were definitely several fractures along the boy's spine. Corbyn started coughing and a small stream of blood ran onto the ground. Jonah couldn't stay there anymore. He began pacing in small circles, unable to catch his breath. Jack hurried to him. "Let's sit down. We probably shouldn't crowd around him anyway. Daniel and Zach have it under control."
Jonah nodded as Jack led him to the van and had him sit down. "Why didn't we do something else? He and Zach were so anxious. We could've gone anywhere else."
Jack shook his head. "Don't start blaming yourself. No one is to blame. I don't know what happened. They're going to figure it out."
Jonah put his head on his knees and Jack sighed as he hugged the boy. They sat in silence for a few minutes watching the plane land so the instructor could get to Corbyn. No one really knew what to say. No one was even sure of what had happened. It was once again silent as the plane engines turned off and the pilot began radioing for help, though the van driver had already called the ambulance. Jack was about to say something when he heard someone shout. At first he wasn't sure who. Jonah raised his head with a panicked expression. "I don't think he's breathing," Zach stammered in a panic. "Dani, what do we do?"

Jonah and Jack ran over in a panic and knelt beside Corbyn just as a helicopter sounded overhead. It seemed to take forever to land and Jonah was getting impatient. It finally landed and several medics ran over with equipment. "Age?" the older medic asked.
"Twenty-one," Jack replied as he pulled Zach into his arms.
The youngest medic raised an eyebrow at the older one as he gently moved Corbyn onto the stretcher. The oldest medic glanced at Zach and sighed. "I'm doing everything to keep this kid alive," he whispered.
The youngest medic bit his lip for a moment then nodded. "Let's get him into the heli," he replied.
The helicopter began to ascend and Jonah stood beside his best friend running his fingers through his hair. "How far is it?" he asked.
"Thirty minutes or less," the youngest medic replied as he checked Corbyn's oxygen levels.
Corbyn's eyes fluttered open and Jonah frowned. "Can he hear us?"
"I don't know," the older medic replied. "He's barely conscious."
As if on cue, Corbyn's eyes closed again but this time he had flatlined.
Sorry for the cliffhanger, I didn't know how to end it so I'm going to make a part two that starts at the hospital. Anyways I hope you enjoyed this and I loved writing this so thank you so much for the request. Stay safe everyone 💕
