Chapter 21: The Final Showdown with Ryan

Y/n's POV :

Well to be honest I thought the universe loved me . But now in the situation I am in right now , I would think otherwise .

Not only the man turned to be a boy and not just any boy , Aidan's former bully Ryan , whose twin brother Aidan had killed , I would sympathize with Ryan if he hadn't done what he did .

Not to mention I literally nearly escaped death because of him .

As if the shock wasn't enough Ryan's dad turned out to also be alive , but the most shocking part was that it was Officer Nick .

I knew deep down that Officer Nick was a bit too good and kind , but I didn't mind it cause other police officers could be kind too , take Chief Harbor for example .

God , I would faint and die from immense shock if all the police officers at the police station turned out to be Ryan's relatives .

If that did happen then I puked declare war in the universe because of the twisted irony .

Any way I snap out of my thoughts as I hold Aidan's hand . I would blush but at the current situation his hand was my only source of comfort .

I look at Aidan and I can see that he is thinking of something.

I trust Aidan enough to know that he won't go down without a fight .

I would love to stop but either way we would die , so why the hell not try ? Didn't some poet say 'Try again and you will succeed'? Well he better be right .

Or else I am rating his poem with a negative star which is below 1 Star .

Aidan's POV :

I contemplate my options .

I have a gun right now and I could shoot Ryan but his dad probably has a gun too .

I should wait for the right moment .

Officer nick went towards where Ryan was standing and he greeted us as if he hadn't done anything.

I then see that Ryan's dad , you know what I am just going to call him Nick, pulled out a gun and pointed it towards us and said : "it's time to finally get rid of you Aidan , you have no idea how long I waited to do this"

I sarcastically thought ' I do have an idea , it's been 7 years' and I wanted to say it out loud but thought better of it .

Is this really how it's going to end , maybe I should give up but then y/n would also die and I cannot let that happen . So I am not going to give up .

Nick comes towards us and quickly snatches y/n away .

I warn him but he holds the gun against her head .

He then tells Ryan to tie me up and then Ryan comes and ties me up with the pillar .

Then they put y/n in a glass box , god knows how that got here , and then they start the water pressure and water starts filling up .

Y/n starts panicking and so do I cause both of us realize that they are going to drown her .

Ryan tells me that he's going to make me watch y/n get drowned and then he will kill me .

I yell at the both of them to let y/n go cause she had nothing to do with this but they didn't listen .

They both sat down . And watched us .
Like this was a f**king show.

I should have used my gun , but now I can't reach cause I am tied to a pillar .

I helplessly look at y/n who at this point is doing everything in her power to not lose hope .
