The Weight of Freedom

It’s amazing, the freedom of moving on, and though it took me over a year to get here, a giant weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I only wonder where that weight has gone, was it passed on to another? Or did it just vanish into thin air? I like to think that I kept it, just instead being the anchor tying me down it’s an anchor used to keep the boat of freedom from drifting off into open water.
