If it's dark outside will you be there Love?
Can I count on you to bring me your light?
Turn my black crow feathers white like a dove,
So I can soar to brand new heights.
Or maybe we can swim deep in the sea,
your kisses replace my oxygen tank.
Your light touches feel like water to me.
Our hearts will float unlike the ships that sank.
Follow you anywhere like you're a king,
A stray puppy you had fed once before.
Happiness is the only thing you bring,
you changed my life so it's not such a bore.
I pray our love will always stay the same,
but if our hearts break I'm still glad you came.
