It Couldn't Get Any Stranger

The Second Dream

The moment you fell asleep, you were plunged into another dream.

It was worse than before.

(⚠️ sensitive readers skip it might be bloody⚠️)

You are tied to a chair in the middle of some kind of void.

There stood the demogorgan, feeding on something, feeding on bodies.

You scream and suddenly Max, Dustin, Lucas and Mike are tied in identical chairs and the monster rushes over.

Leaving it clear whose body it was feasting on.

Wills.

A tear runs down your face but you watch the monster walk over to max.

Gone.

It moved away from Max's limp and headless body and towards Dustin.

Gone.

It moved to Lucas.

Gone.

Finally it moved to Mike, he stared into your soul and said "Tell El I love h-"

Gone.

You scream and the suddenly the bodies disappear, so did the monster and your chair.

You fall back into the same lukewarm water in the endless black void.

You see a car.

You walk over to it and peer inside it.

"Will! Will!!! Willlll!!!" He couldn't hear you.

Nor could the woman driving the car.

Or the boy with his Walkman plugged in.

Or Will.

But the girl could.

"Seven." She says completely calm. Her eyes not making contact with you.

"Eleven! Hi erm, what's going on"

She didn't reply. She faded away. Almost as if time was up.

You were left there in the water.

You looked down at it.

It wasn't water.

It was blood.

You wake up screaming, againnn. You hope Max hadn't heard.

She had though.

She stood there with a glass of water and  handed it to you.

You gave her a nod which meant thanks.

"No problemo!" She says smiling.

You snap out of it and say "what are you smiling about Maxine Mayfield?" You smirk.

"Nothing it's just I'm excited to see El again, I mean, she was gonna come round in December but now I get to see her earlier"

"Cool" you say as you pull yourself out of bed and towards the table.

You grab the Cheerios and pour yourself a bowl.

You were not a morning person and couldn't be bothered with Max's positivity at this time.

You shovel the cereal into your mouth quickly.

You weren't super excited about El coming.

I mean yeah she was cool but you were kind of a bit jealous.

You yawn and are about to go back to bed when the WalkieTalkie on the table began to buzz.

"***llo! It's W*** does an**** copy ov**"

You were about to say hi when Dustin's voice crackled onto the radio.

"Yep, I copy, this is Dustin by the way, over"

"Hi this is Lucas, when are you arriving, over"

"About half one I t******"

Will fades into static.

"Will do you copy?" You say before quickly adding "over"

No reply.

"Let's go to the Wheelers y/n" Max says.

"Alright" you say.

"I promise, El and Will are co-" she stops herself before continuing " I don't even need to introduce them, you already know them. It's kind of creepy that isn't it"

You let her babble outside your door as you change into some clothes.

After that you get on the bike, you were gonna see 011 and Will again.

You smile at the thought, you did miss both of them.

A lot.
