Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos were with Fairy Godmother and a bunch of other students waiting to begin their field trip at the museum. "I hate these field trips to the museum!" Jay complained.

"I know! Tell me about it!" Mal agreed with him.

"Guys come on, it's not that bad." Evie said to them.

"Yeah, there's some really interesting stuff in here." Carlos added.

"Yeah, but whenever we go on a field trip we always come here. Why can't we go to the shooting range?" Jay asked.

"Because Fairy Godmother would never allow it." Evie replied.

Mal just rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms. None of it was really fair. The only reason she really put up with these field trips was so that she didn't have to do any schoolwork. "Alright students! All eyes on me!" Fairy Godmother got everybody's attention. "We have to stay together as a group and see the museum at our own pace."

"Hey Evie! Can I walk beside you?" Doug approached Evie and asked her.

Evie internally groaned at him. "No Doug, go walk by yourself. Far away from me!" She said to him.

Doug just stared at her with a hint of a smirk on his face. "I love it when you play hard to get." He said.

Evie was about to yell at him some more when she felt a hand on her back. "Look here you dwarf, step away from Evie and we won't have any trouble." Her boyfriend Henry said to Doug.

Doug gulped and walked away. "Thanks, babe." Evie told Henry giving him a quick kiss on his cheek.

"I'm just tired of him hitting on you all the time." Henry replied.

"I'm just tired of you being so lovey dovey with each other. It's disgusting." Mal said.

"You're just jealous you don't have a boyfriend." Evie told her.

"Why would I be jealous? Having no boyfriend makes me feel free!" Mal informed her.

Evie just laughed at her friends they walked in the museum, and everybody, except for Mal, walked the farthest away from Maleficent's spinning wheel as possible. "Why is everyone so scared of this thing? It's not that bad!" Mal said mostly to herself.

"Well, not everyone has Maleficent as their mother." Evie reminded her.

Mal only shrugged in response. They then proceeded to walk through the museum. And they once again passed the hall of villains causing Mal and Evie to stop and just stare at the lifelike statues of their mothers.

"Every time I see the statue of my mom, I feel like she's actually here." Evie said.

"Those chills though. My mom continues to scare me, even as a lizard." Mal said.

And they also passed the Queen's crown. "That crown was supposed to be on my head." They heard Audrey whine. And Mal snickered to herself.

But just then, she heard her name being called. She looked around trying to find whoever called her name. Her eyes fell on Evie looking at a basket of poison apples. "Very funny, E." Mal said sarcastically punching her in the arm.

"Ow! What was that for?!" Evie exclaimed holding her arm.

"Stop calling my name." Mal told her.

"What are you talking about?! I didn't call your name!" Evie yelled at her.

"Right, it was just the wind." Mal replied sarcastically. But then she heard her name again. "Did you hear that?"

"Hear what? I don't hear anything." Evie said to her.

Mal was confused, who was calling her name, and why couldn't Evie hear it? The rest of the class left to go in a different room and Mal was about to follow them, when she heard her name yet again. And she laid her eyes on her mother's scepter. It was calling out to her. So she began to walk towards it. "Mal!" It whispered. She touched it and she instantly felt the power soaring through her veins. It felt...good. She smirked and was about to pick it up from its stand when Evie came back.

"Mal, come on, everybody's waiting for you!" She told her.

Mal turned around and looked at her snapping out of whatever trance she had been in. "Yeah, I'm coming."

Evie grabbed her by her wrist and they walked to where everyone else was. But Mal felt like she just had to get that scepter. "We're back, Fairy Godmother." Evie told the fairy.

"Good! Alright everyone, let's go." Fairy Godmother said.

Mal could still hear the scepter in her head calling her name. She tried her best to get it out of her head but as she did so, she could feel her eyes glowing their bright shade of green. "Whoa Mal! What's going on?" Evie asked her seeing her best friend's eyes glowing.

"Oh nothing. I was just thinking, that's all." Mal.told her.

"About what?"

"Nothing that's important. Let's just keep going!" Mal said hurrying her pace to catch up with the others.

Evie fell behind Mal a little as she wondered what was going on with her friend. "Evie! What a coincidence you're back here too! Oh well, might as well walk together." Doug said.

Evie groaned again at him. "Doug just stop!" She yelled.

And Mal after she heard Evie yell, looked behind her to see her trying to get away from Doug again.

"Come on, Evie. You know you love me. Just kiss me already." Doug said to her.

"No Doug! I don't like you like that! I will never like you like that! Just get your hands off me!" Evie continued to yell at him as he now had his hands on her shoulders.

"Get away from her Doug!" Mal yelled at him getting the two to look at her. "Back away from Evie." Doug put his hands up in surrender. "Now walk in front of us. Way in front of us."

Doug then briskly walked away from them. "Mal would you please consider doing something to him? He's always around me and I can't take it anymore. I hate him!" Evie yelled.

Mal's looked at her with wide eyes. "Whoa! You're mad. You've never hated someone before. At least not openly."

"Mal please curse him somehow or just do something!" Evie practically begged her.

Mal was about to say no again, when the scepter clouded her mind with evil thoughts. Her eyes glowed green for a second and a smirk appeared on her face. "How far can I go?" She asked.

"Whatever it takes to go get him away from me." Evie replied.

"I'll do my best." Mal said to her. Her smirk just grew bigger as her friend walked away back to the group. And Mal just continued to think of what she could do to Doug. And that's when her eyes fell on her spell book. She chanted a spell that made the glass around it disappear and she quickly grabbed it, hiding it in her jacket and then she went to go find her friends. She was definitely going to get in a lot of trouble.
