"H-how is this possible? How come I didn't realize." I said as I looked around the room at everybody.
Fabio came up to me with the biggest grin of all.

I nudges him away then smiled. I looked back at East and seen him talking to my step mom. I walked up to them and began to ease drop on their conversation.
"Do she know what we do?" Laura said.
"Nah not yet." East said.
I decided to to walk up to them.
"Hey Aubrey welcome to our family, I'm so glad to finally meet you." Laura said as she smile.
I gave a polite smile back to her then looked at East.
"You ok baby." he said.
I nodded my head then grabbed his hand and took him to the dining room. East sat down and I sat down beside him. Everyone else came in sat down with us. I looked around at the table and everything looked so delicious. My stomach grumbled.
Everyone grabbed hand and began to pray. After praying everyone dug in.

As I was eating in the dining room my phone went off. It was my mother. I excused myself from the tabel and went up to one of their guest room.
"Hey baby, you just don't be callin your momma no more." She said.
I laughed.
"Wassup mama, and I just been a little busy thats all."
"Mhmm, anyway, I'm having a get together at the house on Sunday after church, will you be coming?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Make sure to bring the young lady, I would love to meet her."

We hung up the phone and I went back to the table. I walked in and looked around and stared at Aubrey. She looked so happy.
"You know its rude to stare boy." I heard a familiar voice behind me.
It was knight.
I gave me hug and asked me to come to his office.
"Laura told me you haven't told her about what we be doing here." He said pulling out to blunts.
I grabbed it and lit one up and put it in my mouth.
"Yea I haven't, I dont know how to tell her." I said as I blew smoke from my mouth.

Everybody was in the living room chilling and when a knock was heard on the door, Laura went to open it and I heard a familiar voice coming from the door. The person came in and my eyes got wide. It was Erica and her daughter Veronica.

When I was done using the bathroom I washed my hands and walked out. I made it back to the living room and sat on East lap. He handed me the blunt and I put it to my lips.

He looked at me with his eyes low and red.
