17 - Wrong

"Longing is the agony of the nearness distant"

"Hyung, we need to talk." Yoongi says to the phone call.

"I'm listening"

"Not on the phone, I want to meet and talk" Yoongi replies.

He could hear the man at the other side of the phone call is sighing. That man surely knows why he wanted to talk to him in person.

"Seokjin is getting better, he stopped his medication a year ago"

"He is cutting himself. You know about it and you never tell any of us" Yoongi presses his tone trying not to burst.

"I'll take half a day off tomorrow to visit my brother, we can meet in the mean time"

Yoongi nods, looking at the ground as he heard what Seokjung is saying. They ended the phone call right after that.

As the schedule is over, all of them climb up onto their van, waiting for their managers to take them home or rather, to the hospital. It was not all of them that came to the hospital though, it were only Jimin, Taehyung and Hoseok.

Namjoon, Yoongi and Jungkook are at the dorm, too worn out from their schedule today. Not like they didn't care, tomorrow when the sun is up they will surely go there.

When the three arrived at the hospital, specifically at the room. The doctor is there checking up on the eldest. They didn't feel uneasy to see the doctor late at night in the room. Upon that, they wait for the doctor to finished her job and for her to give them some sort of explanation.

"He will not be waking up until tomorrow. He just pushed himself over the limit for today and I'm not okay with that" she explains calmly to the three.

When the doctor left the room leaving them with the nurse, they waited for the nurse to leave too, she eventually did but before that she says,

"Why aren't you coming earlier? I can see he was hoping for someone to come to him"

The expression she gave to them was some sort of hurt and sad at the same time but still is very much professional as she calmly said that with a little smile.

"I thought you did inform him that you're the one who brought him here. He still didn't know who brought him here"

The three just silently hear that. As she left, Jimin and Taehyung walks closer looking at their eldest hyung. It's weird to see him looking like this. Like he was so so sick and everything was not on his favour.

When Taehyung grabs Jin's hand, holding it in his hand while sitting besides the bed, Jimin almost knock Taehyung's head for disturbing the eldest but seeing Jin didn't even flinch despite being a light sleeper, Jimin holds himself.

Tomorrow will be a long day.

"Why you didn't tell me or any of us about what happened to him? He cut himself for fuck sake!" Yoongi presses his words.

"Why should I?" Seokjung challenges the younger. He did look like he was mad.

"Why should you? Okay let me ask this back to you, why did you contact me to check on him if you have other option which is the police?" Yoongi asks.

Silence accompany both of them.

"Why didn't you answer me?" Yoongi says almost shout out his anger.

"The police will leak the report about him to the media. The last time I call the police on him, he need to move from his place because the media got his address" Seokjung replies.

A moment of silence.

"Why didn't you tell us about what he did to himself?" Looks like Yoongi will not backing up.

"For what? For you to know that he cut himself because he felt like he was such a disappointment to everyone? He stopped cutting himself about a year ago, he didn't do that anymore and that last until a month ago! He started to cut himself again! He was crying to me telling that everyone hates him-" Seokjung looks at Yoongi in the eyes.

"Don't tell me none of you have any part in that because I do know all of you involved in that shit! Do you know how hard was it to me to always checking his phone to delete all the curses that all of you messaged him? I'm sure he must have read some of that. He didn't get near to his phone anymore-"

"Seokjin is a precious person to me and to my family. He was a bright person, he was always the bright person and that was until he stepped into that company meeting all of you! How much have you broke him apart until he did that to himself? He hates to be in pain but looking at him now, he says nothing hurt him anymore!"

"Fuck! I'm going to lose my mind with this!"

Seokjung is really mad at his. Yoongi is lost of words too. What shocked Yoongi is, Seokjung is crying in front of him.

"I received a phone call from him few weeks ago, he was crying, he said all of you don't want to see him again, that all of you don't want to see him anymore. I didn't know what you did to him to cry like that or was it just his mind but he was rushed to the hospital by the police. I had to call the police, something was wrong with him and the police was the only option that I have"

"He cut himself again, Yoongi. He cut himself again! The news spread like a wildfire and I had to blocked the news, preventing the public to know about this situation. It will not do good for any of neither him or all of you" Seokjung adds.

"I know I shouldn't blame you on this because both my brother and you are hurting but I never see my brother like that. I swear I never see him like that. He was never like that. That is not the Jin I know neither the Jin that our family know"

"You know since day one that we wanted to pull Seokjin out from that company, you all know it. All of you promised to take care of each other but why do I feel like you never care about my brother?"

It's true, they did promise that. And it is also true that they for sure know how furious Jin's family was. They were trying to pull Jin out from the group before they debuted. Even after they debuted, the family still trying to pull him out from the group fearing that their precious child and brother will be hurt. In the end Jin did get hurt far deeper that they could imagine.

"I'm sorry for my outburst but just like you, a precious child and brother to your family, Seokjin is our precious person too. Thank you for checking up on him when I asked for help. I was so relieved to know that he didn't hurt himself" Seokjung says, wiping his face with his hands.

After a moment, Yoongi brave himself to speak.

"He didn't know that we brought him to the hospital. We couldn't meet him when he woke up as we're away for the schedule, I don't think he knew about this" Yoongi replies after a moment of silence, heavy feeling is there.

"You should go and meet him, all of you. Jiyoo says Jin looks like he was hoping for someone to come and I know he was longing for all of you. Tomorrow is his birthday, we should at least cheer him up. I'm going to be there with him for his birthday tomorrow"
