When we got to the great hall Pansy was already there, eating. I said bye to the boys and thanked Theo again for his robe and made my way to the gryffindor table to Harry, Hermione, and Ron. They all greeted me as I sat down.

"Whose robe is that?" asked Hermione.

"Theo's."

"Where's yours?" she asked, curiously.

"Draco." I said as I shrugged my shoulders. I looked over at the slytherin table where the boys were without their robes. Thinking about how Theo didn't judge me for my small breakdown made me see him in a different way. I'm not sure exactly how, but I felt differently about him.

I hadn't realized I was spacing out until Ron started shaking me. I looked at the three of them and they were staring at me. "Were you staring at Nott?" asked Ron.

"No, I was looking at all of them." I said as I looked down.

A huge grin made its way onto Ron's face, "Aurora, do you have a crush on Nott?" I looked at him with wide eyes.

"No!" I looked at everyone at the table and they were all looking at me as if they didn't believe me. "I swear I don't. It's just my day started off shitty and he made it better. I think that warrants a reason to look at him a bit."

"Whatever you say." said Ron. I didn't say anything else because it seemed like he was set on the assumption that I did like Theo as more than a friend. The boys left to the library to go pick up a textbook so I was left with Hermione.

"Now that the boys are gone are you gonna tell me the truth?" Hermione asked.

I sent her a confused look while I continued eating.

"Oh you know, about Nott." she said.

I looked at her for a while before asking, "What is it that nobody ever uses someone's first name unless they're friends?"

"Trying to change the subject, I see. Well it's just something everyone does. I don't know why. So, tell me about Theo."

"There's nothing to tell."

"You seem more... aware of his presence." she said. I thought about it before answering.

"It'll pass. He just did something really nice."

Hermione shrugged her shoulders before saying, "If you say so."

It was now mid November and I was in my dorm with the boys and Pansy. We were talking about random things when Draco brought up mine and Elio's birthday. I'm guessing he knew the rest of the group's birthdays because he only asked us.

"It's this month." responded Elio. That caught everyone's attention.

"We're already halfway. What day is it?" asked Pansy eagerly.

Elio looked at me and could tell I didn't want them to know. "We don't celebrate it." he said.

"Why not?" asked Theo.

"We don't want to." I said. In all truths Elio liked celebrating, but I didn't. Mum had mixed feelings about it. Nonetheless she always bought us a cake. I would often just spend it alone in my room while Elio and mum watched T.V. and played games.

"Aw why not?" asked Pansy. "It'll be fun, come on." I looked at Elio to see him smiling encouragingly at me.

"It's the 25th." I said. I began getting a book from my desk so I could distract myself from whatever they were going to talk about, but I couldn't tune them out.
