POV: Damien (sorry it's been a while)

By the time I was finished with the rouges the sun was setting making the horizon was a blended color of yellows and purples and pinks, at the thought of night coming my wolf relaxed.

"Damien" My Beta calls out. Yes, he is the only one, besides my family, that can call me by my first name.

"Yes?" I say without turning around. I needed to wash the blood off my hands. Rouges the thought of their blood touching me made me feel powerful, they were a disgrace to the werewolf species, and the disgusting creatures had what was coming for them. I have no remorse for those creatures.

"If you are not busy, I was wondering if you wanted to check out the house."

"You can just go alone, or take Jaron, but those rouges wore me out so I'll be done for the day." I'm not lying I truly am exhausted. The sleepless nights the nightmares have caused me are starting to catch up.

"Yes, Alpha. We'll be back with a report before sundown" Jaron says popping out of no where.

"Good, now go." My lack of patience isn't helping my mood right now. I continue to the pack house to take a shower and try to sleep. Hopefully tonight I might get a few hours.

POV: Rose

The rest of my day went pretty well...well compared to my other schools.

At lunch I sat with Storm, although the looks from some of the other girls could've put me six feet under. I still don't understand why he would want to sit with me. But I can't help but not care, he makes me feel...safe.

I even met some new people without having a panic attack.

At lunch:

"Do you want to meet some of my friends?" Storm asks carefully. Thankfully he hasn't pushed me to talk about my incident earlier today. Its like he knows exactly what I need...and that's what's really scaring me. What if he finds out about Michael? Will he leave me like the freak I am? Probably.

No he won't. A voice whispers from deep inside me. Great, now I'm hearing things.

"Rose?" He asks with concern entering his lovely voice.

"Uhhhh" I'm not sure how to turn him down nicely "I'm not good with new people"

"I know. I promise they won't hurt you." He says concern leaving his voice and seriousness was all that was left. It may seem stupid of me to believe him. I mean I just met him a few hours ago, but I just can't help it.

I nod my head. "Im going to tell them to come over here." His smile is filled to the brim with pride as he looks at me that my heart swells and all of my earlier thoughts about him leaving me dispersed.

His beautiful green eyes glazed over and in the matter of seconds, three people came over. One girl about my age, but when I meet the eyes of the two boys standing next to her I immediately freeze and start to shake.

"It's okay, the won't hurt you. Remember my promise" he whispers soothingly, I instantly relax when he puts a hand on the small of my back.

He stands from the bench we were sitting on and takes my hand to pull me up with him. When I finally tear my eyes away from Storm's I notice the two boys staring at me, and I start to feel very self conscious. I try to hide behind Storm's muscular build but he just pulls me in front of him and a inhuman-like sound comes from deep in his throat, like same one from earlier.

What is that?

"These are my bet-, my friends Zach and Sam. They are twins" he gestures to the boys that are no longer staring at me, but at the ground in a shy and embarrassed manner. Zach has brown hair with dark brown eyes, and Sam looks just like Zach except Sam's eyes are a light Amber-like color, and almost the same build as Storm. I wave shyly.

"Hey not true, we only have mom's word for it-" Zach starts.

"And I never believed her" Sam finishes.

I laugh lightly. Which takes me by surprise and from the looks of it, everyone around me. I haven't laughed since the night my mom was killed. Maybe being around these people will help me restore myself to who I was before.

"You should laugh more often, it's beautiful. Just like you" Storm whispers, his voice husky against my ear.

"And this is Serenity, my sister, kind of a pain in the ass." Storm points to the girl standing between the males. She was absolutely stunning. Her platinum blonde hair was perfectly straight, and made my brown waves look shameful. She had an amazing curvy figure that I could see through her large hoodie and sweatpants. The fact that she didn't wear makeup and dressed like me made me like her instantly.

"Yep, I usually won't admit it but I feel like I'm obligated to considering I wouldn't want to lie to my new bestfriend." She winks at me.

"Bestfriend?" I've never had one of those. I don't even know what they do.

"Of course. And speaking of pain in the ass, where's Peyton?" Serenity asks Storm a little annoyed.

"I have no idea. Peyton is my other sister, but we hardly ever see her anymore" Storm says sadly and longingly but he just brushes it off.

Flashback over.

We hung out for the rest of lunch before I went to class with Storm. He had all the same classes as me except math. And now on my walk home, I feel my hands start to sweat in fear as I try to brace myself from what's to come.
