POV: Storm
Before I could advance on that sadist, who was commonly mistake for a normal human, I heard their growls before I smelt them.
Werewolves.
And these weren't just normal werewolves, these belonged to a pack. The Crescent Moon pack. Don't get me wrong, our pack was the second strongest in the world, but they were first. I despised their alpha. Alpha Damien. He thinks he rules the world. He doesn't care what gets in the way of what he wants. He's slaughtered entire packs. Women. Children. All of this to climb higher up on the latter of power.
One word described him:Monster.
I hope the Moon Goddess realizes this too and doesn't give him the blessing of a mate. I mean mine got ripped out of my life, because I was trying to do the right thing, all he has done throughout his life is horrid things.
At the sight of me I could feel the wolves tense. I knew the beta of the pack, Jakob, he unlike his alpha was easier to talk to about important information. I recognized Jakob immediately, his gray and white wolf was larger than other wolves, but not mine.
State your reason for being here. I mind-linked Jakob and the unfamiliar wolf standing next to him using my alpha voice. I could tell the were trying to resist my command but they both knew they couldn't so they just gave up.
We are here to check out the house. Search for future threats. He mind-linked back with a matter-of-fact tone. I felt my wolf growl at the way he talked to us.
You'll leave now, if you know what's good for you. I say while the thin patients I had before disappeared. I was not letting them anywhere near Rose's house, I need to protect her from these threats.
I'm sorry Alpha Storm, but we were given orders and we are not leaving until those orders are filled or we are dead.
That can be arranged. And with that I pounced on Jakob while Zach and Sam came out of their hiding place in the shadows to tackle the other wolf to the ground.
Jakob wrestles his was from out under me. We circle each other looking for the other to make a mistake showing their weak spot. He finally got impatient and snapped his jaws at me and ran forward to charge. I just moved to the side and let him run into the tree behind me.
He whimpered and shook his head, but stayed down when I walked over to him. I quickly swiped my claws across his chest leaving deep, dark red, scratches that I know will take weeks to fully heal.
Take this as a warning, because next time you come near her I will kill you. I'm not joking, and I know he realizes that and he turns his head to the side in a show of submission and agreement. My wolf swells with pride at the motion of a powerful wolf bowing to me.
I look over to see that the wolf had stopped fighting Zach and Sam. He looked in the worst shape out of all of us, even Jakob. His dark brown coat was stained a darker color where his wounds had started to heal, rather slowly might I add.
I finally just stopped to listen, it was quite to quite...and the metallic stench of blood entered my nose. I just brushed it off seeing it was probably their blood, and Rose went upstairs to do her homework.
Even after countless times trying to convince myself that this was true, I just couldn't.
I couldn't help but feel that this wasn't the case.
I couldn't help but feel that something was wrong.
Very wrong.
I turned around and walked out into the forest, the opposite direction that Beta Jakob an the wolf had come from, and continued to think.
Why was Michael here?
Why was Alpha Damien so cautious around his territory all of the sudden?
Why were both of them at the same place at the same time?

Sorry my readers for this being so short, I'll probably post again later today.Should I post a chapter in Michael's POV?
