Looking At You - Part 1

Summary: Henry can't take his eyes off of Jasper, but Charlotte has worked out exactly what is going on with him.

Henry had a big heart, that much everyone knew for sure. He would do anything to help anyone who needed him, and because of this he had become very popular.

Becoming Kid Danger had allowed Henry to get an even greater sense of satisfaction, as helping others made him feel good about himself.

There was something, or rather someone, else that made Henry feel good too. He had been thinking about it for a while, but knew he risked so much if he ever revealed it.

When Jasper found out that Henry was Kid Danger, everyone doubted that he would be able to keep it a secret, but to their surprise, he had not said a word to anyone.

The fact that Jasper had been able to keep this secret was heart-warming for Henry. He knew that Jasper wouldn't let him down.

In the man cave, Henry was sat down and trying to chill out. He had just helped fight crime and was tired.

The one part that Henry wasn't prepared to tell anyone about, was not really a secret. It was at a point in which it was noticed by Charlotte, at least.

Charlotte: That must have taken a lot out of you.

Henry: You bet, I want to sit down for a week!

Charlotte: Well, can I join you?

Henry: Sure! Take a seat!

As Charlotte sat down next to him, Henry could sense that she was about to talk to him about something serious; he recognised that expression.

Henry: Go on then.

Charlotte: What?

Henry: Talk to me about whatever it is you want to say.

Charlotte: Okay, there is something I think I have to ask you.

Henry knew Charlotte so well, but he wasn't sure about what she wanted to say. He just hoped that she wasn't going to make him embarrassed.

Henry: What is it?

Charlotte: Why are you always looking at Jasper?

This caught Henry off guard, he didn't think that anyone would pick up on just how much attention he was paying to Jasper.

Henry: Do I?

Charlotte: Don't try and deny anything, I've seen it.

Henry: Um... Well...

Charlotte: Yes?

Charlotte was going to find out what was going on, and wouldn't let Henry avoid the question. He was clearly nervous, but Charlotte did try to relax him.

Charlotte: You can tell me, I won't tell anyone.

Henry: It's just... I can't stop thinking about him.

Charlotte: Oh really? Does he make your heart light up?

Henry: Yes, recently I've seen just how loyal he is, and I---

Henry couldn't keep talking, as Jasper entered the man cave and he couldn't stop looking. Jasper looked at Henry with a big smile, and that was the most wonderful thing that Henry had ever seen.
