In this world, hesitation and death were no different from one another nor were they an option as I separated from the group, knowing that my targets would be taken out quickly if I stayed. My luck must have been higher than ever because, within a matter of seconds, two mechanical puppets that I recognized as 3 pointers happened to walk across my path. My mind immediately went blank as I channeled Stellar Energy in my fingers before molding them into thin and almost transparent strands, which I knew I had to handle with as much caution as I was capable of.

Right before their huge metal hands could crash down and shatter my body, I leaped up into an exposed windowsill and held both of my hands out in front of me, directing the silk towards the metal puppets as it sliced through their bodies with ease. Knowing that it was no use showing the entirety of my quirk just yet, I let my body fuel the deadly strands and slid down the surface of the building. With no time to be wasted, I headed towards a large dust cloud where, surely enough, the group of examinees was gathered and surrounded by a group of what looked to be mostly 3 pointers, the ones with the biggest damage yet biggest weakness. Their blindspot...it's on the right.

Almost as though it had been carved into my mind after years of ripping metal apart, I climbed onto one of the robot's arms and used the momentum of its movement to leap up as high as I could before holding both of my hands on opposite sides of my body. Rough Silk Third Form : Spider Web. With the few seconds I had left before gravity finally got a hold of me, I shifted my hands downwards and used the strings to form a pattern resembling a Spider's Web before falling and taking it down with me, slicing the robots in one slick movement.

As the silk slowly faded from my fingers, I looked back at the inert heaps of metal and for the first time, I realized just how much damage I had been trained to cause, how much they had trained me to be like my father despite claiming otherwise and beating it into me. You sick bastards. When I turned around to keep going, I noticed a boy with what seemed to be a tail crawling away from a group of robots he had probably failed to destroy. I instinctively flipped my palm out towards him and used attractive force to reel him towards me before turning my back to him, shielding him with my body in case something went wrong.

Without a second thought, I pointed my left index and middle fingers up at the sky and 9 swords made out of Stellar Energy appeared behind my back, slowly burning away at my skin as I tried to keep the radiation at bay. With my free hand, I used the same attractive force I'd used on the boy but this time, I used it to stick all of the robots together, giving me an easier target and also lessening the damage I could cause to the area, just like I had been taught.

I slightly lowered my hand and the 9 swords came to plant themselves in the robots' heads before I lightly touched my palms together, causing them to explode and leaving only falling pieces of metal. Once I was sure that they were out of order, I turned to the boy and held out my hands, hoping that he hadn't been affected by the radiation emitted by the attack.

"Hey...you alright ?" I asked, my voice distorted by my mask. "I'm Yuki Suzuya by the way."

"I'm uh...I'm fine..." The boy answered before hesitantly grabbing my hand. "I'm Mashirao Ojiro."

Right as I was about to head off deeper into the battle ground in hopes to find more targets, the zero pointer appeared out of thin air, casting a menacing shadow on top of us. The boy took my hand in order to run but I knew that we wouldn't make it time since it was already closing in on us faster than a huge pile of metal should. I freed my hand and placed it on his back, channeling every bit of force that was left in my body into my palm, forcing my muscles to tense up to their breaking point.

"Sorry..." I whispered. "Have a safe trip."

Without a second to doubt my decision, I released most of the repulsive force I had been storing up and used it to propel him away from he oncoming threat, trusting that he would be able to land on his own. As I expected, the zero pointer's arm was now on top of me and I turned to him, prepared to take him down before the opposite happened because now of all times, hesitation and death were the same words. I bowed down and pointed my hands downwards closing all of my fingers apart from my index and middle, forming an indicator for the mistake I was about to summon. Heavenly Subjugation Forbidden Conjuring : Ryusei.
