The descendants of two rivals standing face to face, an old story rewriting itself in the new pages of the beginning as one heart had set itself on a blood thirsty revenge all the while searching for answers as to why this meeting seemed familiar, why it seemed fated. The turquoise eye I so despised may have been hidden by a glowing red orb, but his gaze still held the same hatred as his father's, the same lust for power and revenge that I had seen 10 years ago, the one that made me want to rip that ego right out of him.
"You look just like your father..." I grinned darkly. "Son of Endeavor."
His eyes now covered by a screen of rage, he made the first move and a second wave of ice was shot in my direction but this time at a speed more alarming than the others as I gripped the tape and used it to pull his wrist to the side, throwing his attack off its original path. The care I had for this solely being an exercise vanished and I used the newfound momentum to kick the boy's jaw, throwing him off balance while I regained my own in order to strike again.
"Suzuya !" Iida yelled through the transmission line. "Bakugo hung up on me, what's going on ?"
While Todoroki was still in the process of coming back to reality, a split second of hesitation took over my mind and I reluctantly ran back to the stair case behind us, sliding down the handrail before heading down the hallway where voices could be heard bouncing off the walls. Right as I was about to round the corner in order to make sure Iida wouldn't run into any trouble, what felt like a huge metal door slammed into my back, knocking the air out of my lungs and throwing me against the wall blocking my path. Knowing that there was no way I could waste any time trying to pointlessly struggle against whatever was pinning me down, I gathered all of the Energy my body had absorbed and redirected it to my back, melting away the surface that was slowly freezing my muscles in place.
"I told you already, didn't I ?" Todoroki spoke up. "Don't start a war you can't win."
"You're ego's too big." I growled. "Allow me to fix it for you."
Without any further warning nor much thought to what damage my next move might inflict on the building, I let the deadly golden threads wrap themselves around my arms and dance on my fingertips before carefully crossing my limbs on either sides of my body. Rough Silk Last Form : Purgatory. Right as another careless ice attack shot towards me, I slightly shifted my feet and used the newfound structure to make my way to the unsuspecting boy as the threads locked on to the metal walls around us, creating a cage to which only I had the key.
"Young Suzuya !" All Might's voice yelled through the in. "Enough !"
"He'll be fine." I said coldly. "I'm sure he can handle a little heat."
Just as I closed my hands in order to finish the fight once and for all, a sheet of ice froze my feet in place and the cold from the attack slowly mixed in with my body's inconveniently low heat level but I paid it no mind and clenched my fists as tightly as I could while the threads started to cut into my flesh. Despite the pain coursing through my body at that moment, my focus did not waver for an instant and within a split second, the trap I had set up finally detonated, ripping the walls apart as the area began to fill with scorching golden flames, burning my own body in its rampage.
Emergency System Report : 2nd Limiter - 87% Left.
Knowing that killing our opponents was not the goal, I stepped through the hell before me until I reached a figure barely visible through the blaze which I could still recognize as Todoroki, clearly panicking and in more pain than I was while he tried to cover the ground using his weakening ice sheets. What...did I just do ? In one last effort to get us both out of here, I placed my hand over his mouth while slowly releasing attractive force in order to drain his lungs enough to make him faint and ran through the destruction I had caused before finally reaching an untouched hallway with Todoroki now passed out in my arms. Crap...my earpiece is busted.
