7. I'm scared of the unknown

I walked out of my house to see Harry standing against his car.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"Came to pick you up so we can talk..."

"Harry..."

"Come on Sel! It's not going to be that bad"

"Fine but let's go before my parents see this" I mumbled to him as I got in his car and he drove off "so where are we going?"

"The lake"

"No! Let's go somewhere else"

"Alright"

We ended up going upstate "my cousin Jake lives up here"

"Yeah?"

"Hmm"

"That's nice"

"Yeah"

Harry drove up to a dead road and parked the car. There were a bunch of trees around us and even a bench and all that. We got out of the car and walked towards the bench.

"Do you want to go hiking?" He asked me.

"I'm not dressed for hiking"

"So, we'll just walk and talk and I'll be there if anything"

"Um okay"

We began to walk passed the trees, it was beautiful though, our little nature walk.

"So" he started out "um listen Selena, that was me in the past when I hooked up with girls... I'm different person now I just want a relationship, I want a girlfriend and all the good and bad things that comes along with having a girlfriend"

"But I don't know if I can be with someone who hooked up with girls" I mumbled to him.

"I don't do that anymore Sel I promise, I'm a new person"

I sighed "but what about what those girls said about me and about you... I don't want people talking Harry"

"People are going to talk anyway because they have nothing better to do in their boring ass lives"

"I don't know Harry..."

"What don't you know?" He asked with a little attitude.

"About this... I mean I never been in love and who says I know what love is, I shouldn't be in a relationship if I don't know if I even like or love you"

"You like me Selena you told me you did and you do! Love, well that comes later on, you don't have to love me now"

"I don't?" I asked him.

"No love, that comes later on if we date"

"And you take it slow with me right?" I asked him.

"Yeah of course, whatever you want Sel... Listen Selena, I like you so much okay? And we both didn't expect this but I'm glad I like you"

"You are?" I asked him.

"Yes but your so different from all the other girls... A good different"

I smiled "I knew you meant a good different Haz"

"I just wanted to make sure... Listen I know the unknown is scary but that's life and sometimes the unknown can be the best thing ever"

I nodded as he spoke "I like you Harry I do even if I didn't want to because your so different from what I thought you were... A good different... I mean I thought you were like the guys you hang out with that just makes fun of each other and people and just does whatever they want but your not... Your not like that at all and I think that's why I like you so much"
