I've been staying at Harry's for about two weeks now and I still haven't spoken to my parents. I've been working my ass off since I moved in to Harry's. I put my money away in a savings account I have.
"Here's your order sir" I handed him his plate and walked back to Ashley.
"So how's at living at Harry's house?"
"Not bad actually, I mean his parents are mad nice and sweet so I'm totally comfortable with them now and I love being closer with Harry cause we get to learn things about each other"
"Well that's sweet then"
"I guess I just keep feeling like a bother... I don't want to intrude on his family stuff or his problems you know... Like what if he come home pissed and he doesn't want to talk to anyone and I'm just there... You know?"
"Yeah but I guess you two will figure it out"
"Yeah" I nodded "sorry if I'm annoying you with this Ash"
"Your not babe"
"No?"
"No, this is your first boyfriend, it's totally understandable"
"Well if I'm ever talking too much about myself or me and Harry, please let me know"
"I will... Um Sel?"
"Huh?"
"Your mother just walked in"
"What?" I turned around seeing my mom looking around before she spotted me and gave me a little wave "I'll be back"
Ashley nodded as I walked over to my mom, I crossed my arms as I tilted forward as I was behind the counter facing my mother.
"Hi sweetie"
"W-what are you doing here?" I asked her "how did you know I work here?"
"Harry told me" I'm so going to kill him when I get to Harry's.
"So what do you want?"
"I just wanted to give you, your mail and ask you how've you been?"
"Well I'm fine, working my ass off to pay for college"
"Sweetie..."
"Mom you don't have to, I know you and dad have money problems it's okay"
"But I should be able to pay for you college"
"It's fine mom, I'm 17, I have to learn how to be adult and this is me being an adult"
"So your okay?"
"Well as okay as I can be with our situation... How's you and dad?"
"We're okay"
"So no divorce?"
"I don't think so"
"Well good luck" I mumbled under my breath.
"Well I should go"
"Bye"
"Bye Selena"
I sighed as I stared down at my mail, just a bunch of college stuff. I kept the colleges that interest me then threw the rest away.
"So how'd it go?"
"It went okay"
"How did she found out you worked here?"
