36. Planning a Wedding

36. Planning a wedding

I was back home well kind of, I was staying with Dylan's family since I didn't want to stay with my father. I haven't talked to him for years and I don't even feel bad, should I? I mean he's my father for God sake. No, what he did was wrong and I just don't want him in my life.

"So how's wedding planning Sel?" Dylan's mom asked me.

"It's okay, I know some stuff I want, others I just have no idea"

"We'll have you talked to the wedding planner?"

"Yeah, I told her I wanted different color tulips and I want a nice romantic area and music I want to make sure my guests can dance and besides that not really sure"

"What about your dress?"

"I want it to be red" I said excitedly as I talked about it. I didn't want just a regular white wedding dress, no, I wanted a beautiful colored wedding dress.

"Really?"

"Hmm and my bridesmaids are going to be wearing a lighter red"

"Wow, do you like red?"

I laughed "no, I mean kind of but I wouldn't say it's my favorite"

"Ahh got you"

"Yeah"

I got up and walked into Dylan's room "babe?"

"Yeah?"

"I think I'm going to take the car and just drive around my old neighborhood if that's okay?"

"Sure, I think I'm going to go hang out with my friends"

"Alright, you don't need the car?"

"No take it Sel"

"Ok, thanks babe"

"No problem"

I grabbed his keys and left his parents house. I got in his car and jammed to some of my music as I pulled out of the driveway and drove around my old neighborhood. I saw my old house, Ashley's parents house then I creep up to Harry's parents house. I sighed as I parked the car and took the key out as I stepped out of the car. I took a deep breath as I walked up to the door. I knocked and waited, the door soon opened up.

"Selena!!!" Anne hugged me tightly.

I giggled and hugged her back "I was in the neighborhood and thought I'll stop by"

She pulled away and lead me inside and closed the door behind me.

"So how's everything?"

"Good, good... I'm engaged actually"

"Wow let me see" I placed my hand out so she can see the ring "wow that's some ring, who's the lucky guy?"

"A childhood friend actually, we're going to college together"

"Ohh that's sweet and I'm so happy for you dearie"

"Thanks Anne"

I walked into the kitchen where I saw Harry talking to Robin. My heart dropped at the sight of him, he looked somewhat the same but with longer hair. He just looked at me as I did to him.

"We're going to leave you two alone"

I sat down and quickly took off my ring and placed it in my jacket pocket. I began to fiddle with my fingers.
