Chapter 8: Field Trip 2

The teachers rounded everyone up to tell everyone.

"Alright students! I want you all to collect things for the camp! I want you all to get sticks for the campfire, pick berries, catch some fish by the nearby lake and set up the tents. You all can go in groups if you want. Make sure to not stray too far from the campsite!" Then everyone started talking to eachother. Taka obviously wanted to group up with Mondo and vice versa, Chihiro, Yasuhiro and Leon wanted in too.

"Alright group. What are we doing?" Mondo asked.

"Maybe we can go pick some berries?" Chihiro suggested.

"Hmm... Nah, that sounds boring." Leon said.

"We could do the fishing, seems like not a lot people are doing it." Taka said.

"Yeah! That sound like a challenge! Let's do the fishing!" Mondo said.

"Umm... How are we gonna fish without equipment?" Chihiro asked.

"There are fishing supplies over by where the food is." Yasuhiro pointed out.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Mondo said as he marched over to the supplies, the rest of the boys following him. After they all got the supplies, they went to the nearby lake to start fishing. Taka and Chihiro used fishing poles and bait to catch the fish, the other three decide to go old timey style and use wooden spears to impale the fishes. No matter the method, both sides managed to catch a bucket full of fish respectively.

"Alright! I think we've caught more than enough fish for everyone!" Taka cheered.

"Yeah! Let's get these back to cook them, it's getting dark." Mondo said as he carried the two buckets of fish.

"The ultimate cook Teruteru is cooking them I think." Chihiro said.

"Great! We know we will be getting quality food!" Leon cheered.

"Let's stop talking and actually get these fish back." Yasuhiro said and the others agreed. When they got back, most of the students were already back, some are still setting up tents, while some are trying to make a campfire. The five boys went to the campfire, which had Sonia, Kazuichi, Gundam and Teruteru by it.

"So Miss Sonia, you hit these two rocks together as hard as you can so you can create the fire!" Kazuichi instructed.

"Like this?" Sonia asked.

"You need to hit a little harder Miss Sonia." Kazuichi replied.

"Hah, that's not an efficient way to start this flaming ball of death. I, Gundam Tanaka! Will show you the correct way!" Gundam said as the four dark devas of destruction started running around, hitting rocks together fast.

"Can you all just use a simple lighter? Or else I won't have enough time to cook all the meals!" Teruteru whined.

"Silence mortal! The art of the dark craft takes time to complete!" Gundam yelled, soon the hamster were able to create a flame, which soon grew bigger and bigger until it hit the rims of the campfire circle.

"Hah hah! As you can see... My four dark devas of destruction have accomplished their ritual and now a fire has... been... SUMMONDED!" Tanaka cheered as his hamsters pose around him.

"Wow Gundam! The flame the dark devas of destruction has created is so big!" Sonia complimented.

"Hey! He didn't teach you how to make a fire! Unlike me!" Kazuichi whined.

"You all took long enough! Now let me cook my dishes!" Teruteru yelled which made the three go away to somewhere else. Mondo and the gang went up to Teruteru to hand him the fishes.

"Ah! You five must be the ones who went to get the fi- Holy moly that is a lot of fish!" Teruteru said shocked.

"We wanted to make sure we didn't get too little." Leon said.

"I can make so many dishes with these! Thank you for getting them!" Teruteru said as he took the two buckets of fish.

"No problem Chef Hamamura, we just wanted to help." Taka said.

"I'll get to cooking now. You all go do something else. I don't want any distractions! The last time someone distracted me while I'm cooking, I almost cut my hand off!" Teruteru said.

"Yeah, we'll be going now." Yasuhiro said walking away with the other four. They all decided to help some of the students who were struggling to put the tents up. When night came, everyone gathered around the table to eat, everyone loved the food Teruteru had made, if only they can tolerate his food the same way the can with his perverseness. After everyone ate, they sat around the campfire to tell stories, some went to bed early. After some scary stories, everyone agreed to go to bed. The tents can fit two people each; some can even fit four people. Mondo and Taka got a tent that fits two people, even though it is still quite spacious. After they got ready, they went in their sleeping bags and fell asleep. Well, Mondo did. Taka was still awake because he just couldn't get himself to sleep, he rolled over to the side and closed his eyes to try to fall asleep, but instead, two beefy arms suddenly wrapped around him. 'Huh? What's this?' Taka asked himself, he slowly turn back to see the arms belonged to Mondo. 'Oh! He's... Hugging me...' Taka blushed. 'He look so peaceful when he sleeps." For some reason, he only felt sleepy after Mondo had wrapped his arms around him. Taka hugged Mondo back without thinking and dosed off.

Mondo woke up to see there's something in his arms, something warm and precious. 'What the- Taka?' He thought to himself. 'Did I hug him when I was sleeping? But, he's hugging me back...' Mondo debated if he should wake Taka up or not, but a part of him didn't want this moment to end. Before he could decide, Taka had woken up.

"Hmm... Good morning bro..." Taka drowsily said before he realized the situation.

"Oh! I'm sorry Mondo!" Taka said as he pulled his hands away from Mondo, making Mondo sad inside.

"Hey, it's okay bro." Mondo reassured the smaller boy.

"We better get ready, we need to go back to school in 7:00, and its 6:15!" Taka said as he got out of his sleeping bag. The two boys soon got ready, got on the bike, and rode back to school. They soon got back to school and their school life continues.
