"Come on Taka! Let's go!" Chihiro cheerfully said as she held Taka's hand, leading to Chiaki's room.

"Why are we having the sleepover at Chiaki's dorm and not Aoi like we usually do?" Taka asked.

"We're going to have a game night for our sleepover!"

"Game night?"

"It's when we play video games and sometimes even board games! Have you ever played a video game before?"

"No... Is that bad?"

"Not at all! I'm sure Chiaki will teach you, and I can help you too!"

They made it to Chiaki's dorm and Chihiro opened the door, all the girls were already there.

"We're here Chiaki!" Chihiro announced their presence.

"Ah, glad you could come Chihiro and Taka." Chiaki said in her usual soft tone.

"Of course! How could we miss this!?" Chihiro said.

"Come play Mario Cart with me and Chiaki, the others wanted to play other games..." Sonia said while holding a controller. "We can play four players max!"

"I would like to, but I don't know how to play..." Taka said.

"You've never played Mario Cart before? That's okay; I have a lot of games here so tell me what game you have played so we could play it first." Chiaki said rummaging through game cartridges.

"Well... I haven't played any games before..."

"Not a single game?"

"Yes... I'm sorry for being lame..."

"... That's okay; I can teach you how to play. There's no need to apologize... What type of game would you like?"

"I'm not sure..."

"I got a game that you might like!" Chihiro chimes in and looked through her skirt pockets, taking out a switch. "Animal Crossing!"

"Animal Crossing? What's the game about?" Taka asked confused by the name. "Do you make animals a crossing road?"

"No silly! It's about managing your own island!" Chihiro said. "I know how much you want to be the prime minister... So I brought this game with me so we could play together!"

"I think that game will fit him too." Chiaki said. "Why did you bring your own? I have all the games."

"I re-programed some of the characters to act like some of our classmates and some features too!" Chihiro cheerfully said. "I even programed you into the game!"

"Wow! That's amazing!" Sonia complimented.

"I should've known from the Ultimate Programmer." Chiaki said.

"Let's me teach you how to play! Follow me!" Chihiro said taking Taka's hand and lead him to a corner far away from the others.

"Is the game hard?" Taka asked the short programmer.

"It will be hard at first... But you will get the hang of it in no time! As long as you do it daily."

"Daily?"

"The game runs on real time and will progress even when you're not playing it."

"I see... I didn't know games could do that..."

"No more talking and let's get gaming!"

Chihiro then proceeded to teach Taka how to play the game, it was quite hard to teach someone who has never played a video game before but she managed to do it.

"So now you know how to fish!" Chihiro said happily.

"Okay! Do I need to learn anything else?" Taka asked.

"Nope! These are all the things you need to know to play the game! If you have any questions feel free to ask me or Chiaki."

"Okay, I will."

"Now go fish, catch bugs and collect fossils to pay of your debts to Tom Nook!"

"Ah, just like real life... Except easier."

"Hey Chihiro! Do you wanna play Smash Bros with us?" Aoi called out.

"Coming!" Chihiro answered walking to her.

And Taka was left alone to play the game, he went on and collected things to sell so he could pay his house loan, helping out the villagers along the way. After a few hours of straight gaming, he was able to pay it off, but then the tanooki upgraded his house without consent and he is back in debt.

"I'm in debt... again..." Taka said sadly.

"How's the progress doing Taka?" Chiaki asked from the other side of the room.

"I managed to pay off my loan, but the tanooki upgraded my house and now I'm back to paying off my debt..." Taka answered.

"That will happen a few times... but don't worry! It's not infinite."

"Okay... How many more times do I have to do this?"

"About... eight times to get the full house upgrade."

"And how many bells do I need?"

"5.696 bells if I remember correctly..."

"Wow..."

"I'm sure you would be able to pay it off in week, at least that's how long it took me."

"How did you do it in a week!?"

"Sleepless nights..."

"That's really unhealthy! You shouldn't play games all day and neglect your daily needs!"

"I know that... Hajime's been helping me with that."

After an hour of gaming, it was time to leave for Taka, he still isn't comfortable sleeping with a group of girls.

"Thank you for lending me your game Chihiro! I appreciate it!" Taka said handing the switch to the short girl.

"There's no need to give it back, you can keep it!" Chihiro responded nudging the electronic back to Taka.

"What!? But how would you be able to play your other games?"

"I have two and I wanted to give you one of them!"

"Really!? But I don't know how to keep something like this... Do you need to charge it?"

"Of course! Here, take this charger. Keeping the switch is like... keeping a phone! Don't drop it or spill water on it and it will keep working!"

"Okay! I will make sure to keep this very carefully! Thank you for giving me this..."

"No problem Taka! It's good for you to do other things than study."

"Well, goodbye girls!"

"Goodbye Taka!" All the girls said in unison as Taka walked out the door.

The raven haired hall monitor got to his room and immediately plugged in the charger to charge his newly received electronic, changed and laid on his bed. 'I'm glad to have such nice friends...'
