Chapter 6: Study Group

 It was a normal day at Hope's Peak. No tests, no exams, nothing important to study for. Until there was an announcement made by the teacher.

"Okay students. You all will be working on group projects for the next few weeks." Nearly everyone groaned when the teacher finished their sentence.

"Now now, you all are able to choose who you would be working with. Now, go talk to eachother and form groups of three or four, but remember to not be too loud." Everyone started talking to eachother, Mondo looked at Taka, Taka noticed this and spoke up.

"We'll be in a group right?" He asked.

"Fuck yeah." Mondo responded.

"Language!" Taka scolded.

"Okay so that's two. Who else? Leon and Yasuhiro want to be in a group together." Mondo asked.

"Um, excuse me?" A small timid voice spoke out. The two boys looked to the source of the voice, and it was Chihiro Fujisaki, the ultimate programmer.

"Do you two mind if I join?" She said shyly. Before Mondo could respond Taka said.

"Of course! You can join our group!"

"Thank you!" The short girl cheered. By that time everyone had gotten into groups and the teacher commanded everyone to be quiet.

"Alright, seems like everyone has a group! The topic about this project is about animals. I want you all to research about an animal or two, create a presentation, and show your work to the class. You can talk about common animals like dogs or cats, or more exotic animals like tigers and lizards. If your group has decided on an animal, tell me so that each group talks about a different animal. So no copying! You have the rest of the class time to discuss about your animal, and tell me your animal by the end of the class. Move your desks together if you have to. Make sure to not be so noisy!" The teacher instructed, then everyone started moving their desks to eachother, Mondo moved his desk over to Ishimaru's while Taka helped Chihiro move her desk.

"Alright group! What animal are we talking about?" Taka started.

"I don't have any ideas... How about you Owada?" Chihiro said looking over to the biker.

"I don't know... Dogs maybe?" Mondo suggested.

"Dogs would be a wonderful topic! They're really loyal and playful!" Taka said. "Yeah! Dogs are great!" Chihiro added.

"So we're talking about dogs?" Mondo asked.

"Yes! We are talking about dogs for our group project! Good suggestion bro!" Taka said which made Mondo blush a little.

"I'll go tell the teacher!" Chihiro offered as she went to the teacher, after she went back.

"Did any group claimed to talk about dogs yet?" Taka asked Chihiro.

"Nope! So we're talking about dogs!" Chihiro cheered.

"Great! Let's meet up at my room to do research!" Taka said.

"Oh! Can I do the presentation work? I quite good at it! And sure, let's meet up at your dorm!" Chihiro answered.

"Yeah sure, I'll do the research with Taka. I know quite a bit about dogs." Mondo said.

"Then who's going to present our work to the class?" Chihiro asked.

"I'll do it if you two won't." Taka responded. "Alright! It's settled, me and Mondo will do the research, Chihiro will make the presentation, and I will present the work to the class."
