Chapter 14: Date Time!

"Fuck I'm nervous..." Mondo said as he walked to park where he was supposed to meet Taka at.

"Don't worry dude! I believe that you will do great on your date!" Leon reassured his friend.

"I can see him!" Mondo whispered yelled.

"Okay, we'll be going now. Just act like how always act with him. See ya." Kazuichi said as he and the other run off somewhere.

'Okay Mondo, just act natural..." Mondo thought to himself as he walked up to his future boyfriend, hiding the flowers he was holding behind his back.

"Hello bro! Oh! You look different!" Taka greeted.

"I can say the same for you too bro! You look great! And... Did your eyebrows shrink?" Mondo asked.

"You noticed it? You look great too bro! I like what you did with your hair!" Taka complimented.

"Thanks bro... I got yer something too..."

"I did notice you have something behind your back. What is it?"

"I got you... These..." Mondo said as he pulled the flowers from behind his back.

"You got me flowers? Thank you bro..." Taka took the flowers carefully from the other's hands.

"I thought you would like lavender more than roses."

"I do! I really appreciate it Mondo!"

"Thanks... Anyway, do you want to go to the café now?"

"Sure bro! Let's go!" Taka said as he held onto Mondo's hand, which made him surprised but he held the other's hand back. And they were off to their date. Unbeknownst to them, their wing men and wing women were following them at a distance.

"Aww... They're holding hands!" Sonia said.

"We can hold hands like them too Miss Sonia." Kazuichi said.

"Do you think their date will go well? They are polar opposites..." Fuyuhiko asked.

"They somehow became friends so what's different about being a couple?" Leon said.

"There has also been many instances where two completely different people have been shown to work out." Chiaki said.

"Like Makoto and Kyoko!" Ibuki said which made both of then blush a little.

"Let's quit talking and start walking, the two love birds are already miles away! I almost can't even see them!" Fuyuhiko said which made the group start power walking to the café. They got there after a few minutes.

"They walk so fast..." Kazuichi said panting.

"Or you're just a pussy. I didn't feel tired a bit." Fuyuhiko mocked.

"Hey! At least I accept my feelings! Unlike you and Peko." Kazuichi said.

"Cut it out you two." Hajime said before they could start fighting. "Now's the time to focus on Taka and Mondo's date, not you two's love life."

"Aahh... I'm so excited to see how this date will go... It fills me with so much hope..." Nagito said which practically made everyone groaned on the inside.

"Let's just focus on the date." Leon said.

They look inside the café through the window from the park seats opposite of the book café, it was hard to see what was going on since the two boys sat near the end of the café, but Kyoko had brought some binoculars. Mondo and Taka was seated around a typical table you would see in romance movies, Taka had the flowers on his lap and they were both talking. Despite Kyoko preparations, they don't have anything to hear what they were talking about.
