By the time the class had woken up, they were in a cell. Each one of them had handcuffs. What confused the class was that Valerie, Jazz, and Dash were in a different cell. They looked like they were awake before they were. When they inspected their cell there was a pile of handcuffs. How they got out of the handcuffs was beyond them.
"Oh you guys are up," Jazz said, breaking the silence.
"Jazzy pants, why are you three in a different cell?" Jack asked.
"How should I know? I didn't put us in here," Jazz said, rolling her eyes.
"Is Danny in your guy's cell?" Valerie asked, she noticed no one making fun of their situation which made her guess a certain ghost boy was either not awake or not even in one of the cells.
"Danny's not with us," a random student said.
"Great observation skills, humans," Walker said entering the room.
"Walker, where is Danny?" Jazz asked, glaring at the ghost.
"Right here," Walker said before throwing Danny to the ground.
Danny fell and landed on his back. He was unconscious. And everyone saw his condition. He had multiple cuts all over his body, a busted lip, a large gash on his right arm, and burn marks from what they could guess, a very powerful taser. Lancer looked at Danny with wide eyes. He shouldn't even be alive right now. And yet he was. What confused him was Jack and Maddie's reaction. They just looked like all this was an inconvenience. Danny's former friends didn't even look like they cared. However, Jazz was on the verge of tears. Dash and Valerie looked ready to rip Walker apart.
"Danny over here woke up before everyone. I decided to get some revenge on him for that prison break. As you can tell we've been having fun," Walker said, smirking.
"You're sick," Dash said.
"I am perfectly sane. Just be happy I didn't execute him," Walker said.
Suddenly a groan was heard from Danny. He opened his eyes to see two cells one with his classmates and parents. The other with his sister and friends. He sat up and looked at Walker.
"Walker, you should have warned me we were going to visit my class and family. I would have made myself look more presentable," Danny said, pouting.
Walker just rolled his eyes.
"Really Danny?" Valerie said.
"I have to keep up my charm. Who else would do it if I didn't?" Danny said, smirking.
"Shut it punk," Walker snapped.
"Oh come on you know you love my amazing commentary," Danny said while smiling.
Walker kicked Danny twice and punched him in the face.
"I deserved that," Danny said before spitting out blood.
Everyone looked at Danny in horror, well everyone except Maddie, Jack, Sam, and Tucker. Lancer wanted to help Danny but also lecture him on what not to do while being captured. He just didn't want the boy to be in any more pain. However, the whole class noticed how different Danny's blood looked. It wasn't your normal red blood. His blood looked red with green specks in it. No one's blood was green except ghosts. But ghosts were dead, so Danny couldn't be one... right?
"Do you know what this is, punk?" Walker said, holding up a flower that looked like a rose. However, it was different. It had black leaves and a brighter red color as the petals.
Danny's eyes widened, "How the hell did you get your hands on a blood blossom?"
"Vlad provided me some," Walker said while walking towards Danny.
"V-man would do no such thing!" Jack yelled.
"I would think about who your friends really are, Jack," Walker said while smirking at the man.
"How is it not affecting you?" Danny asked while moving back but eventually hitting a wall.
"A special glove, quite useful."
"Leave him alone!" Jazz yelled.
"I don't think so," Walker said.
Walker got close enough to Danny for him to feel the effects of the flower. Danny tried to hold in his yells of pain but eventually couldn't. His yells of agony bounced off the walls. He felt like he was being ripped apart and acid was going through his body. Eventually, he passed out from the pain and occasionally let out whimpers of pain.
"I am going to kill you!" Jazz yelled.
"I'm already dead," Walker said, smirking.
"Doesn't mean that I can't make you hurt," A voice said from the door.
"Ember, I was wondering when you would show," Walker said.
"Well, it didn't take long for reports of a human vehicle to reach me. You do realize that this is a crime right?" Ember said.
"That punk deserves it," Walker said angrily.
"Wrong answer," Ember said before kicking Walker in the face.
Ember quickly ran over to Jazz, Valerie, and Dash's cell. She got the cell open and helped them out.
"I need one of you to eat the blood blossom. I can't get near Danny if that's in my way," Ember said.
Dash ran over to where Danny was and ate the blood blossom. Ember rushed over and checked Danny's wounds quickly. While she was doing that Danny slowly regained consciousness.
"Hey, Em," He said.
"Baby pop why do I always have to save you from these messes," Ember said, worried for Danny.
"You are my knight in shining armor," He said with a grin.
Ember rolled her eyes playfully. The class was now free from their cell and their handcuffs were off their hands. However unknown to all of them Walker raised his hand to shoot them with an ectoblast. Danny saw Walker from the corner of his eye and created a shield around everyone. Valerie knocked Walker out again.
"I'm going to sleep now," Danny said before closing his eyes.
Ember silently cursed and turned towards Dash.
"Can you carry him?" She asked.
Dash nodded his head and picked Danny up.
"Listen up, since you do not have any transportation to the human realm you are stuck with me. We have to go to Phantom's Keep and from there you can go home," Ember said.
"Why should we listen to you?" Maddie said.
"Because either you come with me or the Ghost Zone becomes your permanent home. There are a lot of ghosts here who hate humans so they'll love to get their hands on you," Ember said, smirking.
That shut Maddie up right away.
"Now follow me, it's only an hour walk from here," Ember said, walking away, not waiting to see if anyone was following her.
