Something Unexpected

Chapter 18

I am anxiously waiting for Noah to come back. At the moment I am pacing back and forth on our balcony. Fresh air and walking to try to calm down. I am so distracted by my thoughts that I was startled when I felt a strong pair of arms wrap around me. Sparks. I turn around and squeeze him into a tight hug.

"I was so worried," I cried into his chest.

"You know I will always come back to you" Noah says rubbing my back before wiping away some stray tears on my cheeks.

I know Noah and I have a lot to discuss about what happened but I need to give him the good news.

"Noah, I have to tell you something," I say nervously.

"Is everything okay?" Noah asks with concerned filled eyes. I smile.

"More than okay" I say looking at him lovingly. He tilts his head showing he is confused.

Still smiling, I take both of his hands and place them on my stomach, which I had noticed just started to have a bump. Noah's eyes grow wide with realization.

"Sienna, is it what I think it is?" he asks with eagerness.

"Yes, I'm pregnant Noah. I'm a couple months along" I say with a smile.

"This is amazing!" he cheers while pulling me into a hug and spinning me around.

"I'M GONNA BE A DAD!!!!" He yells, punching his fists into the air. I laugh and hug him.

Just as Noah was about to yell again we heard a thunder of footsteps running towards our room. One by one, Kara, Cody, Mason, Sarah, and Chris ran into the room.

"Did my ears hear right!???" Sarah exclaims excitedly. Noah and I nod smiling.

"I'm pregnant" I say with a smile. Everyone in the room cheers and runs over to Noah and I, squishing us into a group hug.

"I'm going to be an aunt!" I hear Kara say.

"And I'm gonna be an uncle!" Noah chimes in.

"Me too!" Cody adds.

I'm going to be a grandma! My first grandbaby! Chris isn't it wonderful" Sarah says.

"It sure is!" Chris responds.

After Sarah sat Noah and I down for who knows how long, talking about baby shower plans. We finally figured out a day to help plan it with her. I excused myself and headed onto the balcony in my room. I am beyond happy to have the family I have now, but it still makes me sad knowing my mom can't be here. I pull out my phone and give her a call.

'Hello?'

'Hi mom!'

'Hi dear! How is everything?'

'Everything is great mom. I have something to tell you' I say.

'What is it?' she asks

'Mom I'm pregnant'

'I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMA!!' I hear her scream.

'How far along are you Sienna?' She asks. I have to lie, wolf pups are carried at a shorter time.

'About five months, we were unsure because I wasn't showing' That sounded like a total lie.

'Hmm is it you just forgot to tell me? Sienna you would usually know' She says with sadness in her voice.

'Mom! Of course not! I didn't have many symptoms and I haven't started showing until now. I promise'

'I believe you hun, this is so exciting! You better keep me updated!'
