Noah P.O.V
Walking back to the conference room I see Warren leaning against the wall next to the door.
"So a human mate huh, what's her gift?" Warren asked with a smirk. How does he know about the gifts? I grab him by the collar of his white button down shirt and shove him against the wall.
"What the hell do you know!" I yell angrily through gritted teeth. Warren puts both his hands up, almost like he was surrendering.
"Hey, hey calm down. I only just learned that human mates can have some special gift or power". I push him into the wall more.
"Tell me what you know!" I yell, feeling my wolf trying to surface.
"Fine, calm down. A couple weeks ago we caught a couple rogues who had trespassed. We interrogated them and they told us about their leader trying to find a human mate and that he was currently working on getting one. They didn't know any names so I don't know who" Warren said shrugging.
"You're telling me they told you this easily?"
"Well you know it took some convincing, but some silver did the job," Warren said laughing. He stops laughing and looks at me. "Noah, I know we have had our issues but I promise to help protect all our packs and even your Luna" I raise an eyebrow. "Let's put our issues aside and work together now" Warren says putting out his hand waiting for a handshake. I thought about what Warren had said and reached out and gave him a firm handshake.
"Okay, now let's get inside while the others are waiting for us." I say walking into the conference room with Warren.
It's been a few hours and the other Alpha's and I have been discussing the rogue situations and different strategies to help until we find a solution.
"Noah what are the updates in your pack with the rogues?" Alpha Sebastian asks.
"At least once or twice a week we have had sightings but most hurry and escape before we can alert anyone. The few that we have caught are in the prison cells. They refuse to talk, and when they do it's nothing useful" I say running my fingers through my hair. Alpha Carter speaks up.
"My pack hasn't spotted as many rogues as you Noah, but the one we caught the other day was just sixteen. We didn't have to force him to talk, the boy didn't know much except that the rogue leader is after something. What that may be you ask, I don't know" Me and Brady make eye contact.
"Whatever they are after it is obvious they will continue to be persistent until they have it. So that means we need to figure out who the leader is" Alpha Brady said.
"My bet is that Mark guy that was trying to kidnap my Luna" I spit out angrily.
"Yes that is a possibility, but we need that confirmed. Once we have a confirmation of who this is we can handle the issue properly" Brady says.
"We better figure it out quickly!" Warren shouts.
"What happened?" I ask.
"My beta just mind linked me. A couple of our patrol men were ambushed. One died and the other is in critical condition" Warren says clenching his fists. I put my hand on his shoulder to show my condolences and support.
"They will pay, I promise" I say.
"Well let's conclude this meeting and sign the alliance treaty. We will have another meeting in a couple weeks for more updates and figure out new strategies" Alpha Brady says. Everyone signs the treaty. All the Alphas except Brady and I stay in the conference room. The others are returning to their rooms to pack, they are all due to leave in the morning.
