Tuesday.
I hate Tuesday. Actually, I hate every day of the week expect Friday. Dino and I were working on a small case and in the men's time we tried to find out more about the plane crash from a few months ago, but nothing for so far.

The man who came last weekend came again last evening to look at me again. I was scared, really scared. I slowly started to lose my hope in finding someone who actually cares about me. Dino cared about me in a professional way, but I knew he would never fully commit to a normal friendship. After all, he's my superior.

Although, he's a good company and most of our talks were nice. For so far, he never got mad at me before. He's just really easy going, strict at times though. He sat with me during our break. He did it more often because he knew I wouldn't join him.

My cheek was still not fully healed, still swollen and painful. Jane hitting me wasn't helping either. For two days I've been avoiding the medbay and Ratchet in particular. Although, he had spotted me this morning. Luckily for me he was having a talk with Lennox. Of course he had seen my bruised side and I could nearly see the question marks in his eyes.

"Skylar...?"

I slowly looked at my right. Talking about the devil. The medic was standing right in front of me and gave me that demanding look. "So... now I know why you've been avoiding me..." he said. Dino sighed, " she got hit by her caretaker last week..." he replied. Ratchet seated beside me and had a look at it.
"It should heal by now... did you get hit again?" He asked. There fell a silence and I felt Dino's eyes burn holes in my body. "Last weekend... yes... and last day too..."

"That explains it..." Ratchet muttered. "It's fine..." I said, waving it off. "It's not..." Ratchet snapped. I flinched and looked down at the table. "I want to forget about it... it won't be the last time. I don't even like talking about it..." I sulked.

Ratchet sighed and got up, "if it keeps hurting... visit me then I'll give you a cream that will smooth the pain help the healing process..." he said before leaving. "Just say it..." I glanced at Dino who had obviously something on his mind he wanted to say.
"It's not my business... you didn't want to involve me..." he said. "There's nothing you can do anyway. Even if you try to talk to them... the moment you said your foot outside they punish me... I've accepted it a long time ago..." I muttered. He sighed heavily and tapped with his index finger on the table. I guessed frustration, "Why don't you go the police instead?" He questioned. "Walter is very powerful... he won't even set a foot inside a cell because he knows lots of people. It's out of the question... leaving him isn't an option either because I end up on the streets," I sulked.

"He doesn't allow me to leave either..."
"Why?" He asked, leaning back in the chair. I shrugged, "I don't no... perhaps he wants to make money out of me..." I muttered. He gave me a sympathetic look, "anyway, shall we?" I asked getting up.

"We are planning on ordering some Japanese food tonight... would you like to stay and join us?" He questioned. I glanced at him, "All the Autobots..." he added. "Are you sure?" I asked shyly. He nodded, "otherwise I wouldn't ask you..." he stated. "I would love to join then..."

He smiled and so around 5 PM we gathered in the mess hall. There was this large round table Dino always sat or most of the time during our break and talked to his fellow Autobots. I got the change to meet them all and get to know them better.
They all had question marks about what happened to my face. So, during dinner Sideswipe decided to ask it. "Skylar? I need to ask but what happened to your face? Did you get hit my whip?" The last part sounded sarcastic. Unfortunately there fell a silence which told me they all wanted to know.

Dino played dump and didn't help me out either. "Uhm..." I started. Am I going to lie or not? What's the point of lying? They all will know I am lying just like Dino and Ratchet did. I sighed, "yes, that's exactly what happened. If you disobey then you get hit by a whip..."

Sideswipe stared at me, "wait... you aren't serious right? It was a joke..." he said. "I am not joking... I don't like talking about," I added quickly. I looked at Dino beside me, begging him to help me out here. "She gets abused... but there's no need to ask her about it," he said a bit snappy.

Optimus glanced briefly at me which I ignored and kept staring at my plate. "Okay, well let's talk about something else then..." Jazz said to clear the air. "What about school? Senior year right?" He asked. I nodded, "yup... it's going to fine I think."

Around 10 O'clock I was heading home. I didn't want too, the evening was fun and going back ruined my mood. Walter opened the door and looked at me. "You're not welcome... you are five hours too late."
"I was at work..." I mumbled. He snorted and slammed the door shut in face, locking it. I had no other option but camping in the garden. I sat down against the dead oak tree. Everything in this damn garden is dead.

I wrapped my arms around my skinny body and shivered, not dressed for the cold summer evening at all. On top of that, rain started to pour down the sky like a water fall.
I laid down in the dead grass and dirt, curling up to a ball hoping to keep myself a little bit warm...
