"Mirage?"

I hummed and looked at Skye as she walked in. "Lennox handed me this, he asked if you can have a look it. He also added its not a rush..." she said as she handed it to me. She sat down and crossed her legs. A smile formed on my lips. "What?" She obviously noticed me staring at her. A dark blush spread over her face which made my spark melt in awe.

"Nothing, just watching what you're doing, that's all." She hummed and shrugged her shoulder before she focused back on her work. I sucked in a breath, shuddering. We worked for an hour until she spoke up. "Can I ask you a weird question?" I perked my head up in surprise and curiosity. "You can."

"Are you good at math, physics or chemistry?"

"I am..." I replied. "Could you help me? I am never going to pass my exams and... I need help. I know you're my superior but... you're already teaching me things. I just feel a little inappropriate asking you."
I smiled and shrugged, "we are already beyond that part. We are friends despite working together," I replied. She seemed to be relieved and nodded. "You really see me as your friend?" She asked. I nodded, "really? You're the first friend I have ever had then."

I felt bad for her. She's so sweet and yet people treat her so poorly. "What?" I shook my head and focused back my work. "I don't want you to feel pity."
I looked back at her again. "I know you do, but I don't want you to have pity," she stated firmly. "You get treated poorly like you don't have a soul. How can I not feel bad for you?" I asked. She shrugged while laying her pen down. "It's the way it is, Mirage. I accepted it, rather I like it or not. What can I change about it?" She asked.

I quietly agreed and watched her turn back to her work. "You'd like to get some ice cream during our break?" I asked. She smiled and nodded, "I would love to."
I focused back on my work until 1 PM. She followed me and hopped in my alt-mode. "You can use some sugar," I said. She looked at herself for a moment before looking at me. "I get skinny shamed all my life. I can't change much about it," she muttered. "That's because of your circumstances, believe me, you will be even more beautiful when you gained a few pounds." She smiled a little. I just hoped I hadn't offended her.

I parked on a small parking lot and hopped out. People already started to take out their phones to snap some photo's of my alt-mode. Little do they know they're photographing an alien. The thought made me chuckle. I caught her eyes. 'What?' I shook my head. 'They're all taking photo's of me and I'm not even a real car.'

I put my sunglasses on and wrapped my around her shoulders. She was a little tensed at first but relaxed shortly after. Getting our ice cream, we sat outside. 'Who's Sam Witwicky?' I glanced at her. 'Bumblebee's charge. He's a good friend of ours, why?' She shrugged. 'I spoke to Bee this morning. He said Sam wanted to meet me. I wasn't really sure if hat to say... if you allowed it or not...' she trailed off. 'Why wouldn't I allow it?' She shrugged again. 'Sam is okay... little bit awkward I guess.' She chuckled. 'What did you say to Bee?'

'I would ask you.'

'We can go together.' Sky seemed to like that idea. 'Sure, great.' I think she needed a little distraction and meeting nice people. She would never admit she's lonely, but I know. I truly didn't understand why people would treat her so poorly. I scooted a little closer, so, my body was touching hers. She always seems to like physical contact.

After our work shift of today, I was driving us to Sam's place. It wasn't too far from the base. Honestly, I wasn't sure how Sam would react. We aren't close and he doesn't know any thing about me. What on earth am I supposed to talk about?

I parked and hopped out. Skylar was already at the door by the time I had locked my alt-mode. 'Someone is excited.' She smiled but shrugged. Sam opened. 'Oh, Dino...' there wasn't much excitement from his side either. His gaze then turned towards Skylar. 'We finally meet.' He shook her hand firmly before pulling her and almost shutting the door in my face. 'Am I not welcome?' I grumbled. Skylar chuckled. 'Sorry, Bumblebee and Sideswipe are in the kitchen.' He pulled her with him.

Great, Sideswipe is here as well, I thought grimly before walking over to them. 'Didn't know you would come.' Sideswipe threw a peanut in the air and caught it with his mouth. 'Want some?' He offered me the bowl. 'No, I'm good.' I peeked into the living room. Bumblebee nudged me before grabbing some peanuts from Sideswipe. 'She's fine. Mikaela wanted to meet her as well. Doesn't happen daily you show up with a girl.' I wasn't sure if I was offended or not. Sometimes I tend to be a little creepy and girls don't always appreciate.

'Excuse me?'

'You know...' Sideswipe trailed off with a mischievous smirk across his face. 'You always get boycotted.' Now I was offended. 'That's not true! The ladies love me. I just haven't found 'the' femme yet. They don't boycot me,' I scolded. 'Okay, you think you're able to fix a date then?' I rolled my eyes. 'Why would I want that?' I muttered. 'Male, female... doesn't matter but there's a party at the base next week and you should come.'

'I just take Skylar.' I gestured at her. 'Sorry, she's already taken.' I frowned. 'Taken? Since when.' Sideswipe passed. 'Since now.'
'Hey Skylar! Want to be my date next week for the party?' Sideswipe called out. I crossed my arms in annoyance. She gazed at me before answering: 'uhm, sure... if Mirage is okay.' I gritted my teeth. All eyes were on me. 'Yeah, whatever.'
'Sweet. Settled then.' Sideswipe turned back towards me. 'Fix a date. You've exactly one week.'
