HOW I MET THE DOCTOR
P A R T T H R E E

Asterin's POV:

"Is there an airport?" the Doctor asks Amy, the two seemed to not notice me slipping away. I walk past a guy who was on the phone. His wallet hanging out of his pocket just asking me to steal it. I reach my hand out as I walk past, although as the leather enters my hand I feel someone grab my other wrist dragging me away.

"Hey!" I shout tugging my hand, looking up I met a disappointed Doctor. "That was my dinner." I pout. The Doctors look changes to something of pity. Rolling my eyes I tug again. Jesus that man has a vice grip.
"No more stealing. If your hungry just say." he whispers to me letting my wrist go. Rolling my eyes I walk over to Amy slinging an arm over her shoulder.
"So how are we saving the world?" I ask a small smile tugging my lips at the thought of us saving the world. Ignoring me the Doctor runs over to the pond yelling.
"WHAT is that?!"
"It's a duck pond." Amy replies as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Why aren't there any ducks?"
"I don't know. There's never any ducks."
"Then how do you know it's a duck pond?" I ask butting in on their conversation.
"It just is. Is it important, the duck pond?" Amy asks her eyebrows furrowed. The Doctor Up close to her again. This man doesn't know what personal space is.
"I don't know." he responds before having some kind of seizure. I watch in worry as he falls to the ground grabbing his chest. "Why would I know?" still sitting on the floor holding his chest. "This is too soon." he grits out through his obvious pain. "I'm not ready, I'm not done yet."
I crouch down next to him worried. Gently placing my hand on his arm rubbing it soothingly. The sky suddenly goes dark. Well shit.
"What's happening? Why's it going dark?" Amy says, terrified. She stares at the sun, I'm focused on the Doctor though. It gets slightly lighter causing me to look up. The sun was blurry.
"So what's wrong with the sun?"
"Nothing," I reply "It's a force-field, right?" the doctor nods smiling at me.
"They've sealed off your upper atmosphere, now they're going to boil the planet." he adds casually. Amy spins looking in fear at him. "Oh and here they come, the human race." he says. I can't tell whether it's an insult or just a statement. I look around seeing everyone with their phones out. One that caught my eye though was Rory. I take the Doctors hand dragging him along to Rory who the Doctor was now looking at. Rory wasn't taking a photo of the sun, he was photographing the alien.
Suddenly I feel the Doctors hand disappear from my grip, Turning I see him being dragged by Amy by his tie. Huffing I follow them.
"Guy's we kind of need to save the world." I moan. Amy shoved the Doctor's tie in the door of the old guy who lived near the post office's car. Takes his keys locking it shut. "Amy we need to go." I say attempting to take the keys from her. Her being the tall bitch she is, I can't reach.
"Are you out of your mind?" the Doctor shouts.
"Who are you?"
"He's the Doctor seriously Amy. Come. On" I say tugging the Doctors tie.
"NO. Who are you?" she says, ignoring me.
"Look at the sky! End of the world, 20 minutes." the Doctor shouts exhasperated.
"Better talk quickly then!"
"Amy, I am going to need my car back." the old man says kindly. Looking unsurely at me. I smirk at him, replying for Amy.
"Go and have some coffee." I snap, in a tone that left no room for discussion. He nods walking away. The Doctor reaches into his pocket throwing it at Amy.
"Catch." he says. I fiddle with my locket watching the two. Amy looking at the apple and the Doctor yanking on his tie. "I'm the Doctor. I'm a time traveller. Everything I told you 12 years ago is true. I'm real, what's happening is real. now let me go so I can save the world." he says trying to convince her.
"I don't believe you." she says, looking back at the apple.
"Just 20 minutes." the Doctor begs. he tries to convince her. Huffing I grab the keys whilst Amelia was distracted by the Doctor.
"Well, I believe you." I say unlocking the door. Amy stares at the Doctor. I can see that in her eyes she just doesn't want to believe it. "Come on Amy. How many people have we told that he was real. That he was going to come back for you. I mean seriously all of that for 12 years just for you to not believe now." I rant, at her. The Doctor just watches as I talk.
"What do we do?"
"Stop that nurse."
"RORY!" I yell, Rory's head spinning towards me. Smiling I run over to him. The others following. The Doctor sprints past me swiping Rory's phone looking at the picture then spinning to us.
"The sun's going out, and you're photographing a man and dog. Why?" Amy and I finally catch up. I stand next to the Doctor. Amy next to Rory.
"Amy? Esther?" he questions looking at me and Amy.
"Hi! Oh, this is Rory. He's a .... friend."
"Boyfriend." I correct. Sending Rory a sympathetic look. He smiles at me.
"Man and dog. Why?" the Doctor asks ignoring the little conversation.
"Oh, my God. It's him." Rory says, looking the Doctor up and down.
"Just answer the God damn question." I say harshly.
"It's him though. The Doctor. The Raggedy Doctor." he says excitedly. Rolling my eyes, I take out another cigarette. At this rate, we won't be able to save the world.
"Yeah, he came back." Amy says awkwardly.
"But he was a story. He was a game." Rory continues. My eyes widen though when I watch the Doctor grab Rory by his shirt lifting him off the ground in anger.
"Man and dog - why? Tell me now!"
I walk away as Rory explains. Watching the man and dog. I take a few steps towards it. They look at me, the both of them bark and snarl.
"Okay then. Not weird at all." I mutter to myself. The Doctor joins me, putting his hands in his pocket.
"Prisoner Zero." I hear Rory exclaim about him being real as well. Amy just shrugs him off. Poor Rory. The Doctor spins around, me following his gaze.
"Holy shit." I say, staring up at the thing in the sky. It was an eye in almost like a snowflake thing. It was giant. The eye moves around scanning an area, searching for the multi-form. The doctor starts waving his sonic screwdriver around.
"See, that ship up there is scanning the area for non-terrestrial technology. And nothing says non-terrestrial like a sonic screwdriver." he says, a small grin plastered on his face. I smile slightly at him. He looks so comfortable with this. Vehicles drive around without drivers, the machines and phone sparking and exploding. People screaming and yelling as everything starts going off. I watch as two fire people run past us after their fire engine, laughing out loud as they stumble.
"God this is hillarious." I gasp out once I've calmed down. The screwdriver starts to spark, burning the Doctors hand. He yelps dropping it, yelling as it doesn't work.
"NO, no, no, no. Don't do that!" He exclaims. I laugh at how distraught he is over the inanimate objects. He sends me a glare knowing I was laughing at him. "No TARDIS, no screwdriver. 17 minutes, come on think."
"So that things been living inside my house for 12 years," Amy says watching the Doctor with a worried expression.
"Oh my God. Imagine if it's watched you have a shower. Or get changed." I blanch, gaging slightly at the thought of being nonced on by an alien.
"Yeah well, I'm not the one that walks around my house naked." Amy retorts. I shudder realising that it probably has seen me.
"That is nasty." I mutter. The Doctor butts into our conversation.
"Multi-forms live for a millennia."
"So 12 years is a pit-stop." I say, the Doctor smiles at me nodding with what I said.
"Well, I hope it got a good view of me, cause I'm not walking around your house naked again until I'm sure no perverted aliens are chilling in mysterious rooms." I say taking a drag from the cigarette. The Doctor smirks at me whilst Amy and Rory shake their heads.
"Priorities people." The Doctor exclaims suddenly. "Give me your phone." Rory ignores his request and starts whining about how this shouldn't be happening.
"How can he be real. He was never real."
"Phone, now. Give me." Doctor demands, I grab Rory's phone throwing it gently at the Doctor.
"He was a game, you made me dress up like him." Rory continues.
"Rory please shut up." I state, striding over to the Doctor peering over his shoulder looking at the pictures.
"These all the coma patients?" The Doctor asks Rory looking away from the phone to him.
"Yeah-"
"Nope." I interrupt, "They're the multi-forms, forms." I say proudly.
"Each coma a disguise." The Doctor adds.
"He had a dog, is a dog in a coma?" Amy asks remembering the Rottweiler.
"No, the guy is dreaming of a dog. If the dream of a dog then Prisoner Zero gets a dog." I say, looking at the Doctor who nods along with my answer.
"Laptop!" The Doctor exclaims looking at me and Amy, he turns to me. "Your friend, not him the good looking one?" he indicates to Rory, who is now labeled as the 'none good-looking one'.
"Jeff?" I suggest. Rory exclaims, he doesn't like Jeff. I don't know why. It might be because of the whole Jeff liking me and Amy thing.
"He had one. A laptop in his bag. Big bag, big laptop, I need Jeff's laptop." The Doctor declares.
"Alright." I respond unsure, watching him curiously. He has so much energy.
"You two get to the hospital, get everyone out, clear the floor. Phone Asterin when you're done." leaving no room for discussion as he runs off dragging me behind him by my hand.
