Reader POV

I was laying down on my bed in the spade castle, feeling a fleeting emptiness that I always felt around this time of year.

She's a traitor.

I rolled over, tucking a blanket over my shivering body.

Despite being able to control the coldness around me, I still felt it.

I knew that Yuno was angy, that much was plain obvious.

But it didn't mean it didn't hurt.

"So..." I sat up and noticed Nacht in the shadows, keeping an eye outside the window. "What brings you here?"

"A message from Langris Vaude. It's something having to do with the attack."

"Which attack? Be more specific."

"The one where you saved him and Yuno. When Zenon attacked the Golden Dawn."

"More like Golden Gone," I whispered before speaking up. "Where is he? I can speak to him anytime."

"As soon as possible."

I tapped my chin. "Does tonight work?"

"Of course."

"Then at 11:30 pm. I will be in the Grand Mana Zone. Harken's Forest. You'll see me."

"Very well. Be safe, (y/n)."

"Yeah, yeah."

Nacht left and I was once more in my lonely and cold room, despite the fire roaring.

A minute after Nacht left, I sensed my older sister's presence.

"Ne, (y/n)!" She ran into my room. "Let's practice your blood magic! And maybe I'll let you take Megicula on for a spin."

Me?!

"I couldn't possibly-"

"You're a Zogratis sibling. Which means you and I share the same blood. Which means you can wield a devil."

"Lady Vanica, I cannot."

"Ugh, what's the trouble with calling me your sister?!"

Everything.

I got up and put on my cloak, also putting on gloves. "I would prefer to train by myself and without the use of a devil, Lady Vanica."

She sighed and shivered in the cold as I opened my door to the balcony. "Very well. I'll let Dante know."

I made a snowflake snowboard and zoomed out of the palace, not failing to notice the marble statues of House Grinberryall being destroyed by my siblings' underlings.
