The Council sent us to help Aayla Secura, who was under attack by the Separatists. This was my first time in battle, and I was nervous. I climbed into the Republic gunship, next to Rex and Ahsoka.

"You ready?" Rex asked, his helmet on and twin pistols on his sides.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

We were under heavy fire, Aayla's ship was mostly destroyed. Anakin jumped out of the ship, landing on a droid and riding it onto her ship. Rex turned to me, "hold on!" His arm reached out and pulled me closer to him, his other hand grasping a handle. I grabbed onto another handle and watched as Ahsoka held onto the ship. We crashed into her ship and sprang into action. My lightsaber came to life in my hand, automatically deflecting blaster shots back at the droids. Rex was behind me, shooting his pistols and hitting droids left and right. Our best strategy was for me to defend and him to attack. Between Ahsoka and I, we were able to catch up to Anakin and Aayla, who were defending themselves against the droids. Her Commander, Bly, and his troops were beside them. We all regrouped then made out way to the lower hanger, where a ship was about to dock.

Our plan of escape was cut off by more droids, causing us to run a different way. The ship was falling apart all around us. We finally made it to where the ship was docked. I only heard Anakin yell "there's no time," before we were Force shoved into the corridor. An explosion boomed behind us and the corridor shook.

"No!" Ahsoka yelled, going back for her Master. The door was jammed so she cut a hole and retrieved him. We were able to drag him onboard before the cruiser exploded behind us. Our ship took off towards the Resolute. Aayla was telling Admiral Yularen about our emergency attachment for Anakin when our ship was shot and the hyperdrive was activated. The Resolute pulled off and before I could register anything, we were off. I turned to help Ahsoka with Anakin while Bly, Aayla, and Rex worked on getting the ship back in order. I could sense her worry for her master.

"He's strong, he'll be ok," I said, putting my hand on her shoulder. Aayla came in, shortly after followed by Bly explaining how we were headed towards a star. We all ran to the command center, where Rex was trying to get control of the ship. Against Ahsoka's wish, we had to cut power to force the ship out of hyperdrive, leaving Anakin without life support. Her and Bly were able to pull away from the star, but we ended up hurdling towards a planet instead. The crash knocked us all off our feet. Aayla and Ahsoka ran to get Anakin while Rex, Bly, the rest of the troopers, and I got off. They managed to pull him out just in time before the ship exploded. We set up a small tent to protect Anakin from the sun. Ahsoka, Bly, Aayla, and the troops ran off to find help, while Rex and I stayed to watch Anakin.

"Do you think they'll find someone?" Rex asked sitting in front of the entrance to the tent. I sat beside him.

"I hope so." I could sense how weak Anakin was. He was in a lot of pain, and there wasn't anything Rex and I could do. We just had to hope there was someone on this desolate planet that could help him. We sat and chatted back and forth as the sun set. At some point I must have dozed off, I woke up to this creature on top of Rex. I grabbed my blade, but Rex shot the creature's foot and it ran back into the grass. Anakin was sprawled face-down in the dirt. I got him back into the tent and went to check on Rex.

"I'm so sorry. Are you ok?" I felt awful. How could I fall asleep in this situation?

"Don't apologize, you've had a rough day. Plus, I can take care of myself." I looked over his armor to make sure he was ok. At least their armor was tough, if not that thing could have taken a limb off. I was wide awake now as Rex and I went back to protect Anakin.
