We arrived back in Coruscant as the sun was coming up. The Clones went to work loading and unloading cargo. Ahsoka had business to attend to at the Temple, but something else caught my eye. It was a Clone that had yellow markings on their armor. Obi-Wan's forces weren't on Coruscant and the only other person whose fleet had yellow was Aayla. I caught the Clone's arm. "Is Aayla here?"

"Yes sir, she went to the Jedi Temple earlier today." I nodded at him then headed to find her. It had been so long and there was so much to talk about. I arrived at the Temple to find her and Master Windu talking. The moment she saw me her eyes lit up. She said goodbye to Master Windu then came walking over and wrapped me in a hug.

"Ah, it is so good to see you!" She said in her thick accent. "We have so much to go over, but somewhere a little more private," she lowered her voice.

"How about lunch? I'm starving." We headed to a nearby restaurant she recommended.

"Tell me everything! Did you talk to Rex?" The look of excitement in her eyes could have lit the whole room. She was watching me as she sipped on her drink.

"Yea, I did talk to him. We're an official couple now." She let out a squeal that caused some to look at us, but she either didn't notice or didn't care.

"So, what now? How'd it happen? How are you hiding it from Skywalker?" I laughed and held up my hands.

"Slow down One thing at a time! We talked, he rejected me at first, then he got into a bad accident on a mission and met someone who showed him there's more to life than the Republic. And Anakin kinda knows." She perked up at this.

"Is he mad?"

"No, he's happy for us." I wish I could explain him and Padme, but that wasn't my information to give away.

"That's good! At least you two don't have to be too sneaky during, uh, certain activities."

"Certain activities?" Did she mean kissing? We weren't like her and Bly. I thought we could just be hidden behind closed doors and stuff. She smiled deviously.

"Oh, you don't know about that. Well, looks like someone needs to get educated! Or else, bad things could result." I was now super confused. "Look, give me your tablet." I reached into my bag and handed it to her. She clicked a few things than handed it back. "I sent myself a message, so we have each other's short-range comms. I'll send you some things you should read. But only read them when you are alone! Not even with Rex!" I thanked her for whatever she was going to send. "I'll have Bly talk with Rex, I had to teach him how to do everything. Might save you two some embarrassment if you guys know what's going on. Speaking of, where is Rex?"

"Anakin, Obi-Wan, and the boys are escorting Duchess Satine of Mandalore here. Apparently, some group's trying to kill her, and she doesn't want the Republic involved."

"Ugh, politics," she groaned and rolled her eyes. I laughed at that. Seemed her and Anakin had similar views.

"How's Bly? Where's he off to?"

"He's alright, overworked and stressed like all of us. He's getting the crew ready for the next mission. We leave end of day tomorrow." This made me sad to hear, I wanted to spend more time with her. I had so many more questions. Plus, it was nice to have someone to talk to Rex about without having to feel annoyed.

"Are you two staying together tonight?"

"Yeah, we normally get a hotel when we're here. Makes us feel like a normal couple for just a night." She sighed, a sadness in her eyes.
