Ellen's POV:
My nap with Patrick was going great until I got the sudden urge to hurl again. I quickly got up and ran into the bathroom. I heard Patrick get out of the bed and he held my hair back while I continued to throw up. About 2 minutes later I sat down on the bathroom floor and started to cry. "What's wrong?", Patrick asked in a very concerned tone.
"I don't know why I'm throwing up. I felt fine during our hike.", I replied.
"Maybe it's the sandwich we had. God knows how long that food has been in there.", he said trying to comfort me.
"That can't be it. I threw up this morning too.", I said.
"Maybe it's because you're hungover. Come on. Let's go get you some medicine.", he said carrying me downstairs.
"You know I can walk.", I said laughing.
"Sssh", he said placing his pointer finger on my mouth. He placed me down onto the couch and he cuddled up next to me and started to stroke my hair, just how I liked it.
He got up and went to go get some Ibuprofen and a glass of water. I sat up and took the medicine. He went to go put the glass in the sink and put the pill container away. He came back over and cuddled up next to me again and started to stroke my hair, again. Before I knew it, I was asleep.
Patrick's POV:
Cuddling up next to Ellen was the best feeling in the world. I kept on stroking her hair until she fell asleep. I felt so bad for her that she felt ill.
She was asleep for about 20 minutes until I could feel her move and wanted to get up. I rolled off the couch as quickly as I could and she ran into the kitchen and threw up in the sink. I ran over to her and held her hair back again. Once she was done she sat down on the kitchen table and I washed down her throw-up. "Do you want to go to E.R? I mean I play one mean doctor on T.V. but I can't diagnose you.", I asked her.
She laughed as a response to my joke. I was just trying to get her to laugh to make her feel better. "I guess so.", she replied.
She got up off the chair to go get her purse but before she could take a step I said, "Don't move, I'll get your purse.". She sat back down and smiled at me. I walked into her room and found the purse sitting on the grey chair in her room. I grabbed it, went downstairs, grabbed my keys and we were off to the nearest emergency room. Not Seattle Grace Hospital, but one with real doctors.
