Ellen's POV:
Today is the day where Patrick's kids would be moving into the house, at least for six months. Talula's bedroom was all done. It was painted purple, her favorite color. The twin's room had nothing special to it since they were almost 2-years-old. There really wasn't a lot to prepare for their room. I asked Chyler if she could watch Kaylee because there is going to be a lot of chaos in the house today. Of course, she said yes, so I knew she was in great hands.
I was sitting on the couch, fidgeting with all of Kaylee's baby toys and Patrick came downstairs. He sat down next to me and laid his head on my shoulder, "Everything is ready. I'm so tired and it is only 8:30 a.m.".
Patrick has been preparing for this day for as long as I could remember. He always was on top of his game to make sure this place could feel like home for his kids. Talula is at the age where she can start comprehending things more, which was difficult during these times. "I'm glad that everything is ready. What time are they coming?".
Patrick looked at the clock that was on the wall and then he laid his head back on my shoulder, "1:00 p.m.".
"If you want, we can take a nap while we wait for them?", I suggested to Patrick's tired self.
"No. No nap.", Patrick said while wrapping his arms around my arm.
"What about breakfast? We haven't eaten yet and I'm pretty sure most restaurants are still serving breakfast. How does that sound?", I said while putting my head on Patrick's head.
It took him a while to respond, "Mmmh", he contemplated on the thought, "sure, just give me a few moments to rest my eyes.", he said.
I looked over to him and saw that his eyes were shut and he was practically sleeping. I kissed his temple and I closed my eyes for a few moments, too.
Those few moments turned into a few hours. I woke up and looked at the clock in the living room. The time read 11:23 a.m. I rubbed my hand up and down Patrick's arm trying to wake him up. He groaned a little and his eyes started to slowly open up. He turned his head to look at me. His sexy morning voice was like music to my ears, "What time is it?", he asked.
"Almost 11:30. I guess we skipped breakfast.", I said with a slight chuckle.
He turned his head to the clock and then back at me and smiled, "There's still time for breakfast.", he said while pulling me closer to him.
I laid on top of him and looked into his eyes. I pushed his hair off of his face and I laid a gentle kiss on his lips. I pulled away, "What do you mean by 'breakfast'?".
I knew what he meant but I really wanted to know.
He pushed me off of him and he stood up off of the couch. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He spun me around and I squealed as he walked towards the bedroom. He gently laid me down on the bed and we proceeded to eat our "breakfast".
