The setting is the throne room located in the Diamond kingdom. There are 3 main players, our main protagonist Rina Bellrose, her husband-to-be Ian Von Alster, and his brother as well as the king Eugene De Xander Alster. While them 3 were having their silence, the messenger from the Tanzanite kingdom struggled to get free.

"Your majesty!" Successfully the attention of the king, he smirked inward before he saw Rina. W-w-what is that doing here?! No one told me the Devil would be here! He trembled at the mere sight of her, her red eyes simply stared apathetically at him.

Quickly turning his attention to the king, it wasn't all that better. He had already put back on his cold expression from before, if he looked left he would see the devil, if he looked straight he would see a tyrant, if he looked to the right and back of him he would see armed guards ready to end his life. It truly was the worst day of his life.

"A-about the agreement.." His voice trembled and he stuttered out his words, he had to acknowledge it now. He was cornered in enemy territory and one wrong move could get him killed. The people from his kingdom wouldn't care if he died, if he died it would just confirm that the Diamond kingdom was not on the Tanzanite kingdom's side.

"Go on." Having been lost in thought for a while he was only brought back when he heard the words of the king. "We will compensate you nicely riches, land, women, if you take our side you will have all of that!"

Desperate time called for desperate measures, even if the messenger had to lie about what they would give him they needed the Diamond kingdom on their side. "And what if I already have all of that?" The king with his deep voice said in a mocking tone. He didn't need riches, land, or women he already had all of those.

"This is too pitiful to watch." A female voice rang through the throne room, Rina had made her move. Signing, she walked over to the messenger and stood in front of him, looking down at him with her red eyes. "You have no experience in negotiations at all and tell lies to get the party you want on your side, I have seen with before."

A crooked smile made way onto her face, but her fan covered it. "In the end, the lying party would just stab it's benefactor in the back~." In a clear mocking tone Rina looked at the pitiful messenger, her urge to step on him was too strong, but her managed to hold back by pinching herself.

"Lady Bellrose, are you suggesting that we would stab the Diamond kingdom in the back after they help us?" The messenger sweat dropped, they would indeed backstab the kingdoms that helped them, but only because they didn't want to pay back their debts to those kingdoms.

That was the kingdom Tanzanite was like, they only cared about themselves and war. "Of course I am~ why else would I tell such facts?"

"Lady Rina." The king's voice ran through the throne room with a cold chill accompanying it. "Yes? Brother-in-law?" Turning her head to face the king, she had a wide smile. "Might I remind you that this is not the Amazonite kingdom?" If one were to look at them they would have swore they saw sparks of lightning flying between the two.

Glancing at them both was the supposed 'Tyrant of the Battlefield'. Though he had a calm face on, in his mind he was sweating pure anxiety. In reality, everyone in the throne room was sweating, excluding the king and Rina of course. They could all feel the tension in the air and the dislike of Rina from the king.

How did a negotiation of kingdoms turn into a stand off against the Grand Duke's supposed fiancée and the king? Brother you're really an idiot! Haven't you met Rina before? Why did you insist that she come to this meeting?! The Grand Duke was face palming inside his mind as he mentally scolded his brother.

"I know full well this is not Amazonite. But, I do know that this messenger is a enemy to my home kingdom, so how could I resist wanting to kill him. As a way to protect my home kingdom of course." Rina cupped her cheek in her palm as she gave a eyes-closed smile to the king.

"He is here to negotiate with the Diamond kingdom, not for your personal entertainment, Lady Rina." The king also gave a eyes-closed smile as he placed intertwined hands on his lap. 'This will not end like last time!'

"I understand your majesty. I'll let him talk now." Unbeknownst to most of the people in the room, Rina had uncontrollable stepped on the messenger's head and was pressing on it with just enough strength so that he couldn't raise his head.

"Hey, monster." The Grand Duke had lean over to Rina. She simply replied with a hum and a smile on her face. "What did you do to make brother hate you so much?" Rina smile didn't falter, but she stopped her walking completely when she heard the question.

Placing her gloved fingers over her mouth, she let out a short snicker. "We played a bit of devil's advocate back in my home kingdom and I buttered him up a little. Other than that, I have no idea why he hates me so~" Rina had already begun walking again, while the Grand Duke looked at her like she had won some sort of grand prize.

I have never heard of someone arguing with brother and getting out alive. Looking at Rina, he was only able to see her back, but swore he could see her disgusting grin. "Just what type of horrific monster did brother sell me to?" He muttered that under his breath as he started walking to catch up to Rina.

End of chapter guys, sorry it's a little late. Anyways, I have to tell y'all that apparently something went wrong with my account again and now I can't even comment. So I'll be replying to comments at the end of chapters.

@Fenris-2, the Grand Duke could be and could not be considered a male lead. From my searching a male lead is just a essential part of the story like a protagonist I guess.

If you guys are wondering, Rina is *ahem "infatuated" with the Grand Duke.
